Just my opinion. It's his last season in college and if he can make a few plays offensively per game he could be another Charles Woodson (Michigan heisman winner) plus it would help the Tigers win all their games and make it back to playoffs. Besides we don't have proven wideouts across the board like in recent years. Let it happen CEO! Geaux Tigers!

This place would riot if he got hurt on the offensive side of the ball.

Stingley isn't a proven Wipeout either, so he doesn't exactly help with that problem.

Would be lovely if he caught a pass and rips his acl, then we are down the best corner in college football because of it.

Only if he’s waaaaay Better than the WR we have. If not let’s let him be great on D.

We've got enough receivers to where that isn't necessary.

He really really doesn't.

Hes a top 5 pick at DB, dealt with nagging injuries last year and there's plenty of WRs at the position. He doesn't need to play WR for the novelty of it.

He needs to play defensive back only. Why risk something like an injury at WR or PR? Also we have a great stable of WRs

Literally the only reason Stingley should any time on offense is this:

- Trick play
- We literally cant find other WRs outside of Boutte so give him some reps

Playing both sides consistently every game is a huge fatigue on the player

No he doesn't. Would he be our best WR? Maybe, but the gap is close enough where it's not worth the risk.

Troll! N
We have the two great cornerbacks.
We have a ton of WRs. Why would any fool risk losing the best cornerback in college, playing out of position, at a position of strength.
Ricks and Stingley were both injured last season. Why risk it.

We don’t need to resort to gimmicks and tricks to score points. We have plenty of playmakers who are as good or better with the ball in space. See Trey Palmer.

The only acceptable reason to play Stingley a single play on offense is if he will transfer or opt out if you do not.

bullshite. That young man is NO quitter.

He knows where he's playing in the NFL, and it ain't on the offensive side of the ball.

I mean you are getting shite on, but isn’t it public knowledge that the coaching staff told him he would play offense at some point? I think the only reason he wouldn’t is if Stingley himself says he has changed his mind.

I can see this as well, put him in and fake like a jet sweep where everyone thinks he’s getting true ball bc he is Derek Stingley, but then just fake it and throw the ball.
