Stingley wasn’t soft, he knew he had the high draft grade and packed it in.

the one at the end of the first half was because they were giving him instructions as the ball was snapped, the one at the end of the game was just a stupid call/formation by the dc

I'll give you the first one. They should've been in prevent for the second one, but it was still man on man. He should've been able to cover.

It looked to me like Smith pushed off and made one hell of a catch. Stingley had him covered...that doesn’t count as getting burned. Smith had a scholarship and won the Heisman for a reason.
