Imo valet for $50 at the centrally located place where you’re staying is a WAY better bang for your buck than $30ish/day around the corner and down the block at a shitty uncovered pay lot

not spending Thousands, luckily tickets were gifted to me and the wife. And $10 is $10 especially when you have 3 daughters. I have no clue what parking garages cost so that’s the point of the question.
Man, I hate you people and envy you people at the same time.
Dont know which is correct though

Sane here. I have no problem spending money, but I'll be damned if I'm not shopping around.

Yeah, damn hoss. Park at my house in Metairie for free and Uber to the game

$50 is the standard when it comes to what the Hotels charge for their parking garages, personally I think that's a good deal. Event parking rates around NOLA are usually $40+ for like 12 hours in a sketchy lot around the city

Haha - Park on the street wherever besides downtown and uber. Comical to question parking costs but otherwise swing for tix and a hotel room.

where should we eat the night before the game near by?
There are great places within feet of the front door of the Intercont. The little bar/lounge towards the back has good shrimp and grits. I wasn't a fan of the other one towards the front.

Whitney Garage is $30 a day. It’s right next door.
Download the Premium Parking app to pay. Be sure you get your license plate right. You have to pay in advance, and you may have to renew daily.
Do not valet.
ETA: Just checked my app. You can reserve in advance for multiple days.

Sell the tickets then you will never have to worry about spending on parking again.

Park in Harvey and Uber in.
Also, file this under "Stupid Question"

There are a couple nearby but a few things to consider. With valet, you won’t hav3 to deal with hoping they aren’t full and having to drive around looking for one. Also, if you plan on taking your car out, with valet they’ll usually accommodate you; other garages, you leave, you’re paying another day to get back in, if there’s a spot. Since the tickets were gifted, I’d live large and spend the extra $10.
Restaurants the night before are going to be packed. Walk up 4 blocks to Canal...The Palace Cafe. If you can’t get a table, go back to the bar, they’ll serve you there.

The restaurant there is run by a chef. They have a good grilled oyster selection. I suggest it for lunch. I do not know where to start....there are so many places which are my go to must eat here. Just search Tripadvisor.

On Sunday evening, give yourself a break from the craziness-go uptown to eat. Brigtzen’s, Lillette, Clancy’s, Gautreau’s, Patois , Upperline all good choices.

Uber to Venezia's on Carollton and Canal to enjoy some superb Italian food. We go there after the early Sunday Saints games for dinner; it is outstanding. Great atmosphere and food.
