The fact that that woman (or the many just like her) is even remotely electable is a fricking travesty. It’s like they make these people in a lab to specifically be terrible at public service roles and then POOF. Elected.

No....she’s an idiot so has basically no real knowledge on anything. That is why she should ignore everything, including LSU, and just go ahead and miss 100% of the votes.

Idiot? Hardly. She’s managed to prevent the state party she’s a member of being somehow wrested from her control by the only Democratic candidate that’s stood on a statewide ballot and actually got elected not once, but twice. In a period that’s been marked by hyperpartisanship that has created a bifactional Republican Party that rules like Long’s dominated their own party against the ant|-Longs.
She was able to keep JBE from grabbing the reigns of the Party and steering it to the Center. Think of how obstinate and wily you’ve got to be when JBE says hey...this is working. I got elected. Twice.
Now is she slimy? Is she mendaciously obsequious to her party’s saddening focus on identity politics? Does she have foolish ideas about politics and how to run and manage affairs of state?

Here's more, she is in a runoff election, on April 24th, against Troy Carter for Cedric Richmond's old congress seat. Mayor LaToya, just announced she was supporting Peterson for the position. What irony!!!!
