Absolutely NONE of that matters. This is a brand new season we are embarking upon tomorrow. The only thing that matters right now is playing with heart and desire and something to prove, because what you did or didn’t do, what you achieved or didn’t achieve this year means nothing. It’s 0-0.

What’s funny is both of my brother in-laws are die hard OU fans and they said the same
. “our o-line sucks, our db’s are slow.” So atleast you know our guys have watched the film and found weaknesses to hopefully exploit.

I did watch the game. A one dimensional offense put up 31 points and 614 yards. Precisely why I said the defense should take a step back and prove it on the field first. If they didnt care during that game, then we got other issues.

The media is spinning this narrative from a few honest (possibly too honest) comments. Below is a link to the video where Patrick Queen supposedly disrespected the OU offense. Does he come across as cocky to you? He may should you said the standard football stuff but then the media would have complained about that.
LSU needs to respect OU’s offensive firepower...they are a good team. But LSU’s overconfidence isn’t annoying me. It’s the media spinning this narrative that is getting on my nerves.

29 hours from kickoff. Got to work tomorrow but I will have the game on in the background. It is like a building tension. Just hope the boys don’t overlook OU and play with a chip on their shoulder. 13-0 has only won us the SEC. either way, I’m proud of coachvO, Joe Burrow, and the thousands who donated funds for th food pantry. This has been a very exciting team to watch.

Very few of us are overconfident. We are angry. LSU is and has always been hated by everyone and disregarded. LSU is a joke to other fanbases.
We want everything this year. Respect....SEC.... Heisman....NC....broken records.... And a foundation for years to come.

If you can back it up why not? Neon Deion Sanders was full of swagger back in day. Never got upset with him sine he could always back it up. The great Canes teams from the 80's to early 2000's, Cowboys of the 90's, Cam and Aubie in 2010 etc. Confidence is cool...don't you think?

The point your missing, and the poster to whom you responded was making, is that the defense slaughtered Ole Miss ubtil the game was no longer in doubt, and they lost a little focus. To those who understand competition, this did not cause any concerns whatsoever.
Against Ole Miss, I thought the defense looked like winners. I remember years of being a Saints fan when they sucked. They were always staging comebacks against better teams - comebacks that always failed. It’s human nature to have letdowns when you’re way ahead and the issue is not in doubt.
LSU has an excellent defense.

Don't let this year fool you. We have bandwagoneers pumping up the diehards.
As flattering as it is, this great year doesn't change the national perception of Louisiana people and our school.
