He does. If it’s going to happen, let it happen organically so he can bask in it. If what this thread suggests takes place, LSU fans get another chance to make it about them. They get to pat themselves on the back and say, “Look at us. We’re the greatest fans in THE WORLD!” That would cheapen Braswell’s accomplishment.

This is all just my opinion, of course.

Like Jones, I expect Braswell to snap out of it and deliver some key at bats.....even though right now it looks like he's trying to beat a hornet's nest six feet high out of a tree with a broomstick.....

Coastal is throwing a righty. Reaves will start at 3rd and get a few ABs before Braswell comes in as a defensive replacement late if we hold the lead.

Agree, this is embarrassing and patronizing. If it didn't happen organically don't fabricate it. He's struggling and this could further get him off track. Let him figure it out on his own. no rah rah is gonna fix this sorry baws...

We are going to need him to have his best game in the field…will be lot of small ball/bunts

A couple of inning ending double plays would be nice

And for the milllionth time has no one been watching!? Brasswell has stopped playing vs right handed pitchers!!!!! The fanbase is putting this kid and his problems well above the team. It is so strange. Thank God Jay wants to win because the fanbase is fine with losing

I’m glad Jay Johnson wants to win too. What a game by Braswell!

Braswell seems like a great kid and is an incredible defender that should remain in the starting lineup at least against lefties. I am rooting for him.

Serious question: why lefties? Wouldn’t they be more likely to hit it towards first?

There comes a point where a .200 batting average is more of a liability than the benefit of his fielding prowess. Yes his third base play is great.

Did you watch how great he was in the field last night? And he made great contact after the standing ovation. He’s going back out there today.

The standing ovation wasn’t gay enough to help him….guillot may need to make out with some dudes to get it done

Kudos to the fans. That was a really cool thing throughout the championship series. It was mentioned A LOT by the ESPN guys and all over social media.

Not only did Braswell help us win the series, LSU got some great pub and marketing/recruiting from it.
