LSU’s postgame traffic is the worst I’ve ever experienced. If they find a way to fix that, people won’t leave early.

Also, another major factor that rarely gets mentioned is the vast majority of fans at the game live within an hour away (Nola, Lafayette, Northshore, etc.) so they aren’t staying in town at a hotel and have a longer commute to get back home.

I sat in the South endzone last night. I sat in my living room for the Miss St game with 6 friends. The atmosphere was more electric and louder in my living room. The food at our stadium tailgate (smoked pork ribs, brisket and sausage) was superior to what I served at home. I didn't try the stadium food. The sound quality of the game broadcast was superior in my living room. The stadium sound was garbled. I could not hear the band. There were no lines for the bathroom at my house. We enjoyed replays at my house. Game day traffic was not an issue. We parked in Haystack and had easy access to RiverRd. Helicopters also flew over my house but I think they were looking for a car jacker. All things considered I think I'd attend future home games.

Been going for many many years. First half the stadium was dead.

Came alive in the second half and cussed many false starts by Arky. Love to see that!

However by second half it was 2/3 full at best. In a tied SEC game w a rival. Surprised to see that.

The music they play generally does not appeal across multiple generations. And every minute of the time is crammed with something. Need a little more settling time

The traffic issues are far and away biggest item to blame. Ive been to plenty of other stadiums. Traffic nowhere near as bad.

As much as I want to bitch about traffic, it was not nearly as bad as past years.

Drove right in from the North Shore, took I12, hopped on essen, hit river road at L’auberge and parked in the Hayfield lots with out stopping once. Was parked at 3:30.

After the game, took less than a minute to get back on the river road. Smooth sailing back to L’auberge. Only traffic I ran into was on Essen thanks mostly to the 200 lights they have

We got home in record time last night. We stayed until the final whistle too. We got out of our lot easily and cruised right down Burbank.

Shouldn’t be hard for anyone to understand. TAF long ago priced out the diehards, you are left with swarms of folks that only use the game as a social event. These fans don’t really give a damn about winning or losing, much less Ar-Kansas

You could park on the trees? How did you get down, to the ground? Rope ladder?

have a very similar photo of the east sidelines in the middle of the 4th.

I can't understand having tickets but not wanting to be at that game.

Offer $5 seats (at half) to any tickets not scanned in.

100% false
Traffic isn't the reason people aren't coming to games.

This could be a major issue with very few safe/nice/affordable options, in BR.

These post are exhausting. Death Valley was fine last night.

Agreed. I had a blast last night. We left Lafayette at 4:30. No traffic or parking problems. We made the kickoff, enjoyed the band, the speaker volume and music were just right. Stayed until the band played Let us Break Bread and was back to Lafayette for 11:00. Beers were hard to come by in the NE but overall it was a great night in Tiger Stadium.

The speakers suck,

The speakers are fine when it's just somebody talking. It's the damn recorded "music" that literally shakes the whole structure. The band sounds quiet in comparison.

I hate the too loud rap music more than the traffic, more than the shitty concessions. I had an extended email exchange with Gordy Rush about this a couple of years ago. TL;DR, it's deliberate and they're not changing it.

There’s only so much they can do about traffic due to location

Nope. Called infrastructure around your flagship university & near a giant bridge to port side of the city… that’s on the state. Fix the damn roads.

Death Valley didn't used to have to fit in 10,000+ more people.

lots of truth to this

I enjoy sitting in stadium club from time to time but majority of those people should prob just stay home or go to a social venue like brcc or u club and hang out there

lol how mad are you right now?

Freedom of speech on an anonymous message board where grown men are crying about a football game. Yes, this is what our military fought so hard for, the ability to cry on tRant about football.
