Jayden: made some solid throws, only had like 2 that were just purely bad, dealt with drops, Ran SUPER well (led the most scoring drives)
Nuss: Looked Amazing throwing today, really boosted his chances (2nd most scoring drives)
Myles: Looked solid, not many pure misses (3rd most scoring drives)
Howard: Looked really raw today, missed a lot of open throws (4th most scoring drives)

REMINDER: Jaques Doucet said a staff member told him Jayden had a slight lead rn.
He also had a ton of reps today.
This battle will go on for a good bit.

Myles throws remind me of Kerry Collins. Absolute ropes.
Nuss really looked poised and confidant.
Daniels is a monster on running zone reads.
Howard is young.

Gonna be interesting to see how Daniels plays in the fall once he changes his footwork and works with Sloan some more.

The great thing about having Jayden is making teams prepare for a running qb and keeping defense honest. I don't think we have ever been this deep at qb where the top three could start.

For the first time in years the offense looked really good in a spring game. BK wants his offense to have confidence, not hype the qbs had to work for it.

Brennan has some choices to make though. He got beat out by Nuss today and Daniels is going to get snaps regardless. Brennan has some decisions to make…

When did Jacques say this?

Ays said a scout who attends practice said Brennan has been the best at practice then Nuss

Brody Miller who the best for team scoop also said Brennan was in the lead

Nuss looked the best today though

Jacques said it on Hunt and Hill a few days ago
IMO, this battle has a ton of time left
I think the staff likes Daniels because he can run
We'll see

Jayden clearly shows the most immediate potential and will start. Howard will be next in line. Brennan and Nuss will transfer.

Brennan was the 3rd QB in today. Not sure it means anything, but still

Nuss had the best tosses today. He also had a couple of questionable decisions that should have resulted in interceptions. The spring game doesn’t decide the starter.
If Daniel’s gets his footwork right, and it leads to better accuracy I think he starts. If the season started next week, Brennan would start I believe.

Jayden has a super good deep ball, If he can develop intermediate throws, He could be and ELITE QB.

Super good? One really good one, two bad ones.

I also think it's notable that Daniels was the first guy up

He’s too dangerous to not put the ball in his hands in some capacity. Regardless who starts. He’s pretty much almost guaranteed some involvement. I don’t think anyone is saying he’s a gun slinger.
