I know LSU couldn't beat an NFL team, but how many points could they score if any?

3-7, maybe.

Y’all need to stop with this NFL comparison.

Joe’s going to get his shot a lot versus the Bengals defense

Yeah 28 year old pass rushers who know more about the game and technique would dominate our Oline.

I think a lot of you are severely underestimating just how good the guys in the NFL are...

Imagine the best defender we faced all year. Now imagine someone 5 times better at EVERY POSITION ON THE FIELD.

This is overstated and not true. It’s just the snobby- I know so much about football answer.

depends on how much the NFL d cares? Could score 30 if they couldn't care less. If their lives depended on it, the worst NFL d would destroy us. They'd probably score a few tds on our offense.

This is stupid. I guess Odell and Jarvis just got 5x better from their junior season to first year in nfl. Chase would be an nfl starter this year and so would Jefferson.

Dude, we scored 23 points against Auburn. We would be lucky to score 3 points against a NFL defense.

Our O-Line would get destroyed.

Zero. The difference is on the lines. If the ball wasn’t out of Joe’s hands in less than about a second and a half, he would be on his back. Every play.

From 1934 to 1976 there was a game played between a college all-star team and the defending NFL champions.

NFL teams, even though it was an exhibition game for them and not taken that seriously, won 31 of the 42 games.

Not 5X, but they got much better. It doesn't take a lot, though, especially when you're talking about every position on the field at the same time. In college, just one NFL starter caliber player can make a huge difference. Now multiply that times 11. And then add an average of 5 years of body development with NFL level training.

As bad as LSU would beat an FCS school, an NFL team would beat LSU worse.

And most of those games were played when pro guys had regular jobs during the week.

Zero. Any defensive line would swallow up Joe every single play.

No college team would compete in any capacity with an NFL team

Yep, my dad still recalls the day he saw Danny Abramowitz deliver beer.

Well let’s do some matchups and you explain to me how I’m wrong and how I’m “snobby.” I don’t even care for the NFL that much.

The fact that these grown arse men in the NFL are professionals, and professionals they are for a reason, wouldn’t dominate these kids in college, is simply childish and completely naive.

And played a different game...

And weren’t well oiled machines with nutrition, workouts, knowledge of the human body.
