Seems our special team play is much better. Miles seemed to ignore.

Coach O = special teams guru. That fake punt was a thing of beauty.

This might be the most retard attempt at bashing Les.

Wat? LSU had some pretty good/great kickers, long snappers, punters, and return men under Miles.

Coach O fixed

It sure was a genius move by Coach O to hire a special teams coordinator. Groundbreaking move. I just checked and everyone else is following O's lead and have hired a special teams coordinator as well.

I think the only issue under Miles was they liked to do the sky kickoff. Otherwise, the rest was always solid, especially returns.

Miles had some incredible FG kickers and ST units. You need to watch other teams play and kick FGs to know how good we've been with the exception of a few years

And miles return game was ALWAYS incredible.

Hmmm. No. He ended his own career, and almost ran us into the dumpster doing it. Bless him and I hope him well. But criticizing him for his later blunders is not “bashing” him.

If you’re going to bash Les to prop up O, at least be honest about it.

But I’m not sure why you can’t just credit O for the obvious early positives without having to make it about bashing Les. O didn’t even have a damn special teams coach last year

Miles has great special teams until he re-hired Peveto in 2014. That hire was the beginning of the end for Les.

When you play the way Les wanted to you have to have rock solid special teams. Once the special teams slipped it was all over.

O ignored it last year

Made the problem 100x worse

Then fixed it t hiring a ST coach like a normal coach.

Why? There are many here that bash O and refuse to give him a chance and wanna say why did we fire miles, why did we down grade, etc...

This is a fan message board. I appreciate what what miles did at LSU, should have been a hell of a lot more.

If people can bash O and assume he will fail, then why can’t we discuss areas where the previous staff for yrs couldn’t get right? My example is the QB
