Hal is on pace to play for 15 years and not surpass Duplantis’ hit total.

I just made that up

How low of a batting average does he need before his defense doesn’t matter? My old lady even gets pissed off when he comes to the plate. That’s when you know it’s noticeable

Garza figured he would just squeeze it and didn't want to run into an out. Didn't count on Beloso pushing a blocking sled down the first base line.

Reid was loafing there. He's not that slow.

Oh he’s that slow. It takes him forever to get moving. No college athlete his size should be that slow.

I mean what the frick was he doing. And it cost a run

Yep. The 3B didn’t have time to look him back, he should have EASILY made 3rd and then scored on Reid’s hit.

You get out of the double play AND you are assuring yourself of getting to the top of the order while taking a chance with Hughes. Reid hasn't been hitting well either.

I hate bunting, but I realize what the strategy was with 2 hitters coming up that are struggling and 2 hitters after that that are hot.

2nd and 3rd with 1 out and you think CPM was playing for the next inning.

No bro. Just.....no.

Hal Hughes would be in the hitting cage all day and night if I were his coach. Dude better sleep with his damn bat at night

Hal doesn't strike me as someone who doesn't put in the work. he strikes me as someone who simply has no talent at the plate. he wasn't an above average hitter even at the high school level

Bianco has less than half the AB’s as Hal and has 3 more RBI’s. Let that sink in.
