Lattimore hurt per ESPN. Will not play in Florida Game. Indirectly affects LSU. May be on SEC Rant.

Gives FLA a better shot at beating them. Deciding game on who LSU (hopefully) will play in the SEC Championship game

Better to beat SCar twice or avenge a loss to an undefeated Florida in the SECCG if we make it?

I think Florida being undefeated in the SECCG is the only way a 1-loss LSU can make it to the NCG.

Not very important right now though because we need to take care of alot of business before that.

That's too bad. I hope Jadaveon Clowney plays out of his mind then because I'm rooting for SC

Guess I wasn't thinking about this, LSU has a long way to go before worrying about SECCG. Hope the team doesn't worry about things they can't control like some of our fans.

We have 6 games left. Have to win them all. But to the extent we do that, and find ourselves in the SEC title game, we definitely want to play Florida.

Why? Well, for starters, I do not expect that our offense will be as anemic as it was two weeks ago. I also wouldn't bet on Florida's punter pinning us inside the 10 on successive series, thus making our overly conservative offensive game plan even more conservative. I would RELISH an opportunity to play Florida again.

But for the MNC thing, it would effectively be a Bama like argument. We beat everybody on our schedule but Florida...then we beat Florida...and we were the champs of the hardest conference in college football. Are they really going to let Oregon play Notre Dame and not let the SEC defend it's six straight in THAT circumstance.

So, yeah, long way off. And lots of wood to chop. But we should all be hoping UF runs the table right now.

I don't know

If we get by Bama, we're going to get a lot of props. Particularly if they don't lose any other games. And I wouldn't expect them to.

Much better for us that FLA win against USCe and remain undefeated all the way to the SECCG...makes our loss to them a "quality loss" (don't know if I've ever heard that, much less said that ??) if u will. As stated earlier; we need to play an undefeated team in that game, should we get there.

By the same token, we need an undefeated #1 ranked gumps team coming in to TS on Nov 3rd...

Got "bidness" to take care of before and after bama, but we need them coming in at #1.
