re: If ND loses...

All the slobber in Lou Holtz' mouth will miraculously dry up and he will no longer speak in tongues.
Better start checking out avilability in the ATL... looks like the chicken bowl for us ??
Once upon a time ............ :rotflmao:
Frick 'em all... line 'em up and knock'em down...leave the whining for the whiners... :geauxtigers
Win something first...a divisional ship, a conference ship, hell even a decent post-season bowl win..... then talk shite.... A 2-loss season for the SEC upper tier is a big freakin' disappointment ...from all the smack talk, you'd swear u broke back aggie faggies were relevant or something... slow ur freakin' roll bugle boy !!
As long as you can keep "it" quiet, I guess OK...I've got a couple of them who sit in my section every game...they're usually drunk and spend the whole game complaining about every call and telling everyone which defensive set would have stopped that play; they whine, they complain, they're terrible...so, if you can keep "it" quiet I see no problem.

At this point, does it really fricking matter?

Yes it does, you arrogant arse...as a true SEC fan, I'd like to see the crystal football collection in the conference continue to grow. I was at the BCSNC games in '03 and '07. The "SEC" chant broke out in the dome in both cases prior to the "LSU" chant. Not sure u bams feel the same way. Fla, bama, and LSU each have 2 BCSNC's..the best chance for the conference to keep that string alive this year lies with bama..a one-loss GA just won't cut it. Not sure a one loss bama cuts it if that loss is to TAM. Some of u gumps are just real pricks.

If TAM somehow beats bama

How far does bama drop in the polls ?
I was in Tusca"loser" last year for 9-6... really enjoyed the post-game "silence of the gumps". Looking forward to some loud and proud Tigah fans after a Death Valley Tiger win.

Tigers 20
Gumps 17

Geaux !
To quote Lynyrd Skynyrd "I must be movin' on now, cause this bird you cannot change"... Fly on Free Bird !!
For a one loss SEC team (us) to make it to the BCSNC game over an undefeated K-State, we need to beat an undefeated SEC East team (Fla) in the SECCG. That gives us our best shot.

I think Oregon will have a loss as will ND. We gotta beat bama no matter how u slice it.
Much better for us that FLA win against USCe and remain undefeated all the way to the SECCG...makes our loss to them a "quality loss" (don't know if I've ever heard that, much less said that ??) if u will. As stated earlier; we need to play an undefeated team in that game, should we get there.

By the same token, we need an undefeated #1 ranked gumps team coming in to TS on Nov 3rd...

Got "bidness" to take care of before and after bama, but we need them coming in at #1.

Our young men just need to have "the want" to compete and win each week on the field of play; no matter the opponent; no matter the field.
