Deja vu...

This game looks eerily familiar.

Onside kick now?

Prepare yourself. Auburn is a top 10 team and we lost to Troy and Mississippi State. We will be lucky to keep it within 2 touchdowns.

people won't care much about losing to Troy if they somehow manageto beat UF and Auburn back to back.

Who are these 'people'? Personally, I'll still be pissed

I wonder if Troy just got a bunch of injuries or transfers or something. Im sure some on the rant will try to give us that excuse.

I'm sure this monumental win will buy the South Alabama coach more time. Until they get their shite pushed in by ULM next week.

No, I was told they are a top 25 team and better than half the sec.

There was a brief, illogical, reprieve when we beat an awful Florida team by a missed extra point, but now I'm officially sad again.

I see your point, but after LSU lost to UAB in 2000, they still ended up with some good wins. The wins over Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Alabama and the bowl win over Georgia Tech are more talked about than the UAB loss

What? Literally all anyone has talked about this year is the UAB loss because it somehow absolves O of any wrongdoing

I think we all know that Saban had much more of an excuse to lose to UAB based on where the program was back then, but although the loss to UAB was embarrassing right when it happened, LSU had one of the greatest atmospheres in the history of Tiger Stadium a week later and people weren't hurt over losing to UAB after LSU beat a highly ranked Tennessee team in OT a week later. In fact, LSU had 3 of the best atmospheres in Tiger Stadium following the UAB loss that year and then eventually went on to finished ranked after winning a bowl game.

O received a program in much better shape and nothing will wipe away the Troy loss, but I guarantee that if LSU somehow beats Auburn (though it may be a long shot), you will see a ton of posts on here about LSU challenging Bama for the SEC and questions about if LSU could get back into the playoff if they win out. LSU fans are not always logical and are extremely negative when losing, but get ridiculously optimistic very fast when winning. For the record, I got over the Troy loss fast thanks to beating UF. Losing to UF two years in a row would have been much worse to me after all that has gone on with them.
