I'll take that as a good thing

ETA - maybe not. Why replace a bad ST coach with another one that may not recruit as well?

He's awful and the Saints ST under his watch were consistently horrendous

2 long time professional special teams coaches on a shadow staff can't hurt. they're obviously no peveto, but hopefully we'll make do

If that's the case, we should have just held on to BDP. At least he was a top notch recruiter

He's probably better blindfolded than Peveto was.

Was he coaching when Hartley kicked 9/9 and won the NFC to the Super Bowl? And the onside kick recovery in said super bowl? Interesting questions. Saints specials were on lock that season.

Better be an off field analyst or something. Guy has no track record as a recruiter and an unimpressive record as a ST coach.

Was a TE coach for 10 years in college and then the sp teams coach for 10 years with the saints.

He should have been fired from the saints over 5 years ago. Terrible hire if true.

So he's on Shadow Staff until they approve the 10th coach?

True, but at least 40% of that blame goes to Marcus Murphy for his proclivity to fumble punts and kickoffs.
