If he’s a junior and you have to ask, you already have your answer. D1 athletes show it much younger than that.

It was a way to show how bland Arch Mannings stats are that have him ranked as the TOP RECRUIT, across all positions in America.

If he had committed to Alabama would they have had to create a 6th star so he could have gotten a boost?

subtle brag about your kid, but if you aren't getting feedback already, better tell him to start looking at vo-tech schools

That may be true. But when your grandfather was a tremendous college QB and had a long NFL career, your uncle is in the HOF and is thought of as one of the greatest QBs to ever play, and your other uncle had a long NFL career with two Super Bowl victories, you get the benefit of the doubt.

There is no guarantee Arch will be a good college QB. There is certainly no guarantee he will be as good as his uncles. Which is a tremendously high bar to reach. But Peyton and Eli both played at that same small HS. They did just fine for themselves after leaving. So in a world of college recruiting where there are no certainties, it is not unreasonable to look at past history in the family as a gauge for potential success. If nothing else, the kid has intimate access well beyond any other HS prospect to the thoughts and lessons of two highly successful NFL QBs.

In other words, lowly stats or not, if you are a college HC you take the bet Arch will be a great QB

pretty close to my thoughts, and the little school thing is negated, stats wise, because of everything you mentioned, and is less wear and tear on the kid but giving him enough competition to help him develop

Why troll on the kid, because let's be honest...that's all this is.

If Arch would have committed to Coach Kelly and the Tigers, everyone on here would be over the moon with excitement.

I'll never understand why so many on here think it's cool to shite on kids.

2A, 1A, 5A doesn't matter. That's just a classification of school enrollment. Not an indication of talent.

If a kid is talented enough SEC brass will find him.

Arch's is on pace to be about the same or a little better stat wise as Eli and Peyton in high school

Peyton 7,207 passing yards and 92 touchdowns
Eli 7,389 passing yards and 89 touchdowns
Arch 5,731 passing yards and 72 touchdowns with one year left to play

Jr stats

So he's a senior in the fall?

Why has he not been to camp at least last summer and this summer (2020 camps were mostly cancelled)

Who does he have offers from?

Many rising senior QBs are committed by now or at least have a short list.

Jr stats 2,100 passing yards 26 td's 4 interceptions in 10 games in 2021. rushed for 365 yards and scored eight times on the ground. Set my expectations 6'3 White

If that’s his Junior stats in 2A, he’ll be lucky to any type scholarship, maybe a tiny D2 or 3 school.

Unless of course he comes from a long line of famous QBs. Then he’ll get a free ride and some NIL money to play for Texas

when you've grown up attending a camp that has the same last name as you, you probably have enough exposure and "cred," you can also be a bit more choosy

Being ranked the top.recruit in all.of America....well that's a liytle more than the "benefit of doubt"

Zero of what you pointed out turns into talent.....except for the iq part. He obviously knows the IQ side of the game.

He does NOT camp at functions like the Elite 11 or anything that shows his skills against the best. Name me 1 other TOP player that was scared to do that.

I have little.doubt he won't surpass Ewers at TX, and will transfer before all is done.

Stats don't show greatness, he won't throw for coaches, and won't attend camps.
I dont care who fad or uncles are, he shouldn't be in the top 10 of qbs with those stats. Much less #1 overall recruit in America.
