You wouldn’t want a young, up and coming, innovative coach, who knows baseball and how to coach it like Andy did?

Do you know that his head coaching record is 40-30, 17-13 SEC?

I’m not sure why you keep using Andy C as an example
He was at LSU 2014-2016
1 trip to CWS
1 SEC tourney win

No one is saying hire some old man that has been around forever but quit propping up Cannizzaro like he’s actually done something

It doesn't matter who was hired, lose a few games the first year and he was stupid hire.

O'Sullivan has dominant pitching year in and year out. We would just need Woodward to make him get a better hitting coach and we'd be unstoppable!

Texas went all in for him when Garrido retired he said no thanks. He can stay at UF as long as he wants and they’ll pay him too, why would he come here?

And 11.7 scholarships spends a lot farther in Florida than it does in Louisiana due to the amount of available talent.

Come on man. We all knew that Andy was going to be the next big head coach. Before he got fired, 95% of this fanbase wanted him to be our next head coach, and many still do, even though there is no shot he becomes a head coach here or even gets an interview. You're saying he wasn't going to be a good head coach over a small sample size.

I don't understand why or how yall could be against looking in the minors for our next head coach. There are a lot of good coaches out there, no one knows it though.

this is not beneficial to your argument

When I say no I mean these are tier 2 guys. Should not be the first ones you call.

No, we ALL didn’t know he was going to be the next big head coach
I don’t believe 95% of the fan base wanted him either

I never said don’t look in the minors, I never said don’t look for someone up & coming but using Andy C as an example is not the way to do it

He isn't on the top of my list.

Hes been at Arkansas for near 20 years. Why would he leave? They love him there and have invested in the program.

So Bama shouldn't have called Saban after they got turned down by Rich Rod. You gotta make the calls. Woodward has a history of making moves. Time to earn his keep. Scholonaggle is still way better then PM. Again never know unless you ask. Arkansas will never be LSU. Even with another 20 years.

Hiring coaches is like the investing in the stock market, "past results are no guarantee of future performance"!!!

Casey is retired.
O’Sullivan will retire at UF.
Corbin will retire at Vandy.
Van Horn will retire at Ark.
Schloss’s resume isn’t any better than McDonnell’s. Plus he wouldn’t leave TCU for Texas, he won’t leave for LSU.

Corbin and McDonnell, yes.
My preference was Corbin way back when Skip hired BBQ Buddy Mainieri. (He still is) What's he done a Vanderbilt? Nuff said.

I wanted Tony Bennett (Then at Washington State) when Aramarkalleva hired Johnson. What's he done at Virginia? Nuff siad.

Eric Musselman was my #1 choice when Eddie Nunez went out and found Gangsta Pear to replace abysmal Joneshoyang.

I like Will Wade, but ER would have been a better choice than Wade, based on NBA experience and Defense coaching knowledge. He worked miracles at lowly Nevada and has Arkansas back again in only his second season......
