Jordan Jefferson is a 20 year old young man.

Les Miles has his, and the team's best interests in mind at all times.

How come so many of you do not understand this?

Les starts JJ in order to keep his confidence up. Benching JJ will damage the kid and the team.

What if he starts Lee and Lee reverts back to his Pick 6 ways or gets injured and cant' play?

We can't go back to JJ. JJ's confidence will be shot.

How come some of you people can't understand this?

Les is trying to manage his QB situation and win the SEC.

Come on people.

This isn't peewee football dude...If you're not producing, you sit on the bench. As a college football player you should know this by now.

You are those "some" people.

Why does he have to play to keep his confidence up? Jarrett lee rode the pine and it made him better

If you were watching another team in the SEC do this, you would laugh your arse off at them.

How do Lee, T-Bob, or Eugene keep playing then. They have all been starters who were replaced. You think sending JJ out there to go 3/10 w/ 2 ints is keeping his confidence up?

True, but these kids have egos ...

It's obvious, the coaches aren't 100% sure Lee is everything we need.

You said it right. JJ is a 20 year old man and if you cant get it done you sit the bench. Jarrett Lee has been put into that same situation and what he did was come back with even more confidence. Why can’t you understand that?

so if we bench JJ and Lee gets hurt, JJ would come into the game and play worse than he has?

Name 1 other team in college football that let's the worst qb play in every game to keep his confidence up. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard

Give me one example of this happening anywhere else in major college football. He may be young, but he should know what he signed up for. If he isn't the best then he shouldn't play.

I remember when I was 20 years old. Gerry Dinardo didn't start me at QB for LSU and I was furious. I sure wish he would have been worried about my self esteem and well being. I'm certain I could have had 4 yards of total offense vs. McNeese.

Les makes $4 mill a year and I am sure there is a reason why JJ is still getting playing time.

Look, Lee has been in the game when we've absolutely needed points.

This will continue.

So will the bashing of a coach that's 7-0.

Talk about retarded.

Friendly reminder of reality to the OP...

There are currently thousands of 20 year olds fighting and dying on behalf of this country as I type. They face stress, at home and abroad, that makes what JJ is going through or could go through by being benched, look like a fun day at the beach.

Get a grip with reality. Playing sports, while stressful, is still playing sports. Benching JJ could be the best thing thing that could happen to him in the long run and by "long run" I mean not just his time at LSU but in life as well.

JJ has about as much future in the NFL as my wife. He will hit bumps in the road in life and I guarantee you that being benched in favor of a better player will not be the biggest bump he faces.
