I don't want JJ in the game either. Not much at all.

But damn, guys..... why aren't ya'll bitching about PP7 always being in the locker room during a critical part of the game... like the 4th quarter with his frikkin cramps???

I don't see anyone bitching about R. Shepard and his case of the "dropsies".

or the fact that Russell Shepard can't break a tackle...ever.

It's always about Miles or JJ.

see, I don't care about him starting as long as JL gets the lion share of the snaps.....

So what you're saying is we should keep our best players on the bench in order to keep the scrubs from getting their feelings hurt? Yeah, now it makes sense to me...

Most of you guys are just looking for a reason to complain anyway.

Ya'll have complained LOUDLY and endlessly since the Cap One Bowl.

We got about a 3-4 day repreive from it after we beat Florida.

Les is that you?

How can a true LSU fan not question the qb rotation. While every fan doesnt know football even the ones who don't ask why isnt Lee playing.

I was a fan of JJ and I still like him but at this time he is not the right choice for qb. You say play JJ to keep his confidence up. Dont you think his confidence is being hurt more by the fact he sees JL move the team and score and he can't do the same? My opinion is CLM is doing more harm to JJ's confidence by playing him.

Right now they are going nuts over your weak arse post. Not the smoke screen your throwing up.

It's always about Miles or JJ.

RIGHT!

people have, and LSU has at least made an attempt to help correct that problem, not much else to do there

They've thrown to him less down the field

thats just frickin bullshite

it is the most important position on the field, and most obvious glaring problem

because miles is the damn head coach and jefferson is the damn starting qb. those positions are held to a higher standard. Anyone who thought shep would come in after playing qb his whole life and start lighting folks up as a wr in the sec is a damn strong fool

The guy is out of the game because he is physically unable to play because he is on the field so much!! Not because the coach is sitting him just to do it!

Russell Shepard also has the ability to make HUGE plays and has. He's done more good than bad..unlike Jefferson.

JJ QB rating = 90.2. Jarrett Lee QB rating = 149.2. It's about Miles and JJ because JJ obviously is the worse QB by a long shot and still sees the field half the game.

Peterson has CRAMPS! It's a genetic issue! What you think he's purposely getting them? Or maybe he's to afraid to be on the field when it gets tight at the end of the game??

Shepard hasn't been dropping the ball nearly as much now. And i guess you forgot that he's a lifetime QB converted 6 months ago to WR in the SEC?! Shepard is doing just fine. Hell if he went back to QB right now he'd produce light years ahead of Jefferson!

Just because we're undefeated does not mean that players playing badly should be exempt from criticism. Even though everything may be hunky-dory in your world, the reality is that Miles is going to live or die with the decision he is making.

What if he starts Lee and Lee reverts back to his Pick 6 ways

As I said in another post, this happened two years ago to a RS freshman. It’s a pretty irrelevant stat now. He has shown he has improved and grown.

Jordan Jefferson is a 20 year old young man.

We can't go back to JJ. JJ's confidence will be shot.

Kind of contradicted yourself here. He needs to realize, just like JL does now, that he is not “the man” right now. He is part of the team. He needs to do what is best for the team. That is all you hear from JL in his interviews is he will do whatever helps the team win. If JJ takes the same thought process, then he should be fine. After all you said he was a 20 year old man. Then time to man up and play effectively or man up and play your role as backup.

I've long been a fan of JJ but it's become crystal clear he was waaaaaaaayyyyyyy overhyped in being recruited. It happens. He was a great H.S. QB that won state championships. But he's not really done much to prove he's an SEC championship QB. LSU football isn't a confidence building seminar. If a player doesn't consistently produce, there are others on the team who will. JJ knows it. J. Lee knows it. One of them is obviously performing better--consistently. But far be it for me to second guess the 3rd winningest head football coach in LSU history. LM might be a madhatter but he's damned sure gettin' er' done.

It is the only way that people this delusional will accept hes just not very good.

Its not mean to say it, there is statsitical evidence to show how bad hes played.
Its not hard....
