This is getting beyonf ridiculous. Miles' and the teams' best interest is to pay well and win.

JJ limits the possibil;ity of both of those happening.

Why does everyone say Miles is worried about JJ's confidence? What about the confidence of the rest of the team that their head coach will put them in the best position to win?

Lee has been in the game when we've absolutely needed points

And if he had played more, we may not have "aboslutely needed" those points.

At some point Miles and JJ are going to put this team in a position that Lee and the defense can't bail them out of and its going to cost us a chance at the SEC and possibly national title.

What are you Miles and JJ lovers going to say then?

To the OP:

Seriously bro, JJ is a 2 year starter. There are NO MORE EXCUSES.

If he can't get it done, he rides the damn bench. Lee didn't make excuses and defer blame to his teammates when he sucked it up in 2008. He didn't blame DByrd when the ball bounced off his hands for a pick 6 in the Bama game.

Lee is a leader. He produces on the field. TT and Ridley have PUBLICLY endorsed JLee. Our offense is dynamic and productive when Lee plays.

My point is... JJ is a kid. He's immature. He's not a leader. He is NOT PRODUCTIVE on the field.

Why start him? Better yet, why play him? Miles deserves EVERY SINGLE BIT of scrutiny for this issue. I have never seen someone so hardheaded and blind to facts in my life. To stick with the 108th ranked QB in the nation when you have a much better option in JLee is borderline insanity.

And, to address your "he's 7-0" argument: Les Miles is FORTUNATE that his stupid personel decisions haven't cost us a game YET.

Agree completely! You can see the difference in the offense when JL comes onto the field. There is a sense of urgency; you can see how the players react positively. When JJ comes on the field, the offense looks deflated. Putting JJ in the game is hurting the team; no player has to or will say anything negative publicly. BUT, the O's body language tells me EVERYTHING I need to know.

1. "Some people just don't get it!" is wrong statement because it's only you don't get it not us.

2. what is insanity? is people doing the same thing and expect different results.

3. JJ is only an average QB, I observed his plays in 2009 and and I can tell he just played not to throw interceptions and as long as he is not throwing int (or pick 6) he think he is better QB than JL.

4. You can clearly see that JJ is not the leader and he is not capable to do it. I know you are going to blame on coach staff for time management issue but how many times when JJ were on the field and he lokked clueless, but when JL was in the same situation, he looked calm and cool to execute the plays. Even my 12 years old son play football now know you need to spike the ball to stop clock running.

5. The only explanation that Miles start JJ is because he want Auburn to prepare to play both QBs. But I just hope JJ don't screw up on the field.

I dont understand why we care about JJ's confidence. I mean if Lee did start and was hurt and we had to go back to JJ do you guys think he could do any worse than 4 yds of total offense against a FCS team? Confident or no confidence if that did happen I would much rather them move Shepard back to QB and run the wild Tiger I know they would produce more than 4 yds doing that!

I think its crazy not to hold Jefferson to the same accountability that all other players and positions are held to. If you dont produce at LSU at any position but qb you lose your starting job. Why is qb different? What kind of message does that send to the rest of the team?
