Ensminger has been in football for 50+ years. He knows how many players can be on the field.

It wasn't the offensive scheme that was so bad, it was the poor actual timing of the play calling, and the lack of disguise. Les often bragged about not caring if teams knew what play was coming...he thought he could line up and execute the play regardless. Worked great until you played equal or better talent.

Does it ever get old being an uneducated, over-emotional bitch on here? Asking for a friend.

Oh goodie, the same idiots who bitch about everything O says are in here doing the same.

Let’s just wait and see what comes out of fall camp. The real test will be when the chips are down if we revert back to I form like we did under les.

I remember some ESPN broadcaster referring to the Miles/Jimbo offense, back in 2005, as the gulf coast offense

This makes me happy. I’ve been hoping they would do this. We have very talented & diverse TEs and two on the field running routes, along w/the WRs, creates huge matchup advantages. Hopefully they watch some Patriot film w/Gronk & A Hernandez

I love watching Moreau. He's a grinder and Pettigrew is a beast.

Those two should be matchup nightmares for everyone on the schedule.

What kind of offense exactly are y'all wanting?.. An air raid offense like TTU or an Auburn type offense?

Sorry if I somehow Doubt that a 70 year old can learn a completely different offensive philosophy when he has never even been an assistant coach in a spread system.

Even if he can learn a new system he is supposed to be teaching it to others.

So we hired a guy O liked to learn an offense he has never coached. I am Not saying t won’t work out but I am Saying it’s a bad idea and an absolutely arse backwards way of doing things.

When is fall practice?

Preseason/Fall practice is usually the entire month of August.

A lot of walk-throughs, couple scrimmages. Team only gets a few days off out of the month. This is when Les used to get players hurt I think O did a better job last preseason practice than Les was his last few years.

Well why don't you wait to whine and bitch about it when it doesn't work out. You have no idea how good or bad SE will be. He's 6-2 as a play-caller for LSU, and that's with someone else's playbook.

I'm not kissing his arse or saying he's the best option ever, but I have no reason to say he's a complete failure. You're a fricking idiot, dumbass, prick, know-nothing if you claim that at this point.

You can say that all you want but what you can’t say is where Steve Ensminger has ever coached a spread offense.

You’re high IQ knows that.
