The Heisman is about the best player. What he does for his team. What he does Stat wize NOT WHAT HIS TEAM RECORD IS. HES PLAYING AND KEEPING US IN GAMES SPITE OF OUR DEFENSE. THUS HE SHOULD BE IN THE TALK FOR HEISMAN. HE WOULD GET MY VOTE EVEN IF HE WASNT MY TEAMS QB

It's different. Their teams are both unbeaten, and will likely remain so until they meet in the Pac-12 CG, whereas Jayden's team will likely lose two more regular season games.

Now what?

It's not a "best team" award. It's best player in CF.

I see you hate LSU almost as much as you hate America.

USC went to triple overtime to beat Arizona at home.

Mississippi state beat Arizona.

USC is going to have multiple losses this season

Just imagine how much better it would be if Nuss was starting.

That’s what it’s supposed to be and used to be but isn’t anymore. You won’t have anymore Barry Sanders or Andre Ware or sadly Jayden Daniels type Heisman winners. It’s now become a blue blood, playoff participant/contender MVP award.

Im so happy to have been wrong at the end of last season He’s taken a massive step forward in his ability to read and get the ball down the field.

I think he always had the ability there. I just think he didn’t have trust in his fellow teammates due to the fact that in his time prior to LSU he WAS the offense. He WAS the most athletic player on the team. He HAD to do it all himself. He has learned to trust his teammates here and it’s made all the difference in the world.

Not really, Caleb Williams won it last year and they didn’t make the CFP

It’s a shame this defense will rob him of the national attention he deserves

He didnt know the play book, that was obvious early then as the season progressed they could not adjust so he finished weakly. This year he has been with BK a while and knows what to do. He does an excellent job of not turning the ball over, he always has done this well for us. He still needs to get the ball out in front on some deep throws. Overall, he is doing a great job

This is a dumb comment. JD5 is having a great season and is our MVP;however, Burrow didn't get shut down for an entire half like FSU did to JD5.

I know it's been said a thousand times, but how in the hell is he not getting any respect or looks for Heisman? Even the draft, he is not being talked about at all for that.

Regardless, he is one of the best QBs in CFB this year, he has played well and has earned a lot of people's respect.

He should be a heisman finalist.

It should be a 2 man race between him and Penix right now

Everyone else isn't close

The season is having is similar to Burrow's 2019 season when you account for what he does with his legs

AU "muck" game wasn't overly impressive, stats wise.
