The Jefferson kid is talented. I don’t think he’s elite
Maybe fair. Could we comp him to Landry in the league? Not elite but consistently productive.
quote:
safety Jacoby Stephens, a 6-3, 225-pound hybrid. “He’s the one guy who is out of position,” said one of the running backs coaches. “He needs to be a linebacker. He’s heavy-legged. We thought we could attack him. He’s a liability in coverage. He’s not a DB. He’s really stiff.
I actually agree here. Stevens has been at his best around the line. When he was positionally homeless last season, I thought he has found his home at LB. Hes not great in coverage.

some of those evals point to the players weakness. Would say they are right on some of these players weakness. Jefferson i believe they are wrong on .On the db's though each has shown they are not perfect but they are all good to great players. If this was said about these guys what was said about vincent?

Well if it was Saban, they did score 41 pts . So he might have some good pts for the defense to work on!

NEVER listen to these anonymous SEC coaches.
EVER.
EVER.
EVER.
They will constantly run down LSU because they want to diminish our results when we win and keep us down when we aren't elite. A strong LSU makes the SEC harder for everyone. I think they have Alabama under Saban kind of built in to their understanding of who they have to compete against at this point. They don't want LSU to rise or see us remain at the top.
It's all agenda driven.

Enjoy the game boys, watching from home. Don't forget the peanuts.

relax - every player has some flaws. Whether those coaches are right or wrong, it's productive to hear honest critique.

some of those observations are mostly correct if you're not being a homer.
Dont even try being objective with the loons on here. They fail to understand that when game planning coaches point out player weaknesses and EVERY single player on EVERY single team has weaknesses.

Sounds like this coach faced LSU when half the defense was injured. Texas was a very physical game in an oven and then the rest of the tough schedule.
It was probably the Florida or Auburn HC.
