good suggestions, and all dirt cheap, I love TS, I love being there, but it is one of the most uncomfortable, fan unfriendly venues that I can think of

Lock all the exits until the end of the game. Foolproof!

Gladiator-esque fights at halftime and at the start of the 4th quarter.

Play video from other games on the big screens during timeouts, Georgia did this a couple years ago. Very easy to do and takes the lull out of the timeouts.

Tigereye, I think the tv timeouts and commercials will get looked at for both college and pro games. Attendance, staying through the game and tv viewership are all suffering. I've seen a lot of not sold out college games and leaving early. This will affect total gross take and I think a move will be made. Already networks are getting pressure to rebate 10% of their sales to advertisers due to suffering viewership.
It may be a sea change, but it can happen.

1) You're at a football game... wtf do you need your phone/wifi for?
would be nice to check other scores during the endless tv timeouts.
only reason IMO

Actually working to improve the gameday experience would be a good start.

Tiger stadium is in dire need of a complete renovation of the concourses, concessions, and bathrooms.
Isn't something like this already in the works?

Sell Alcohol, people like to drink.
I'm in! But, isn't this an SEC rule to why alcohol isn't sold in stadiums?

I will say that it's pretty inexcusable for the TVs to not be updated. It's a relatively inexpensive fix. Maybe it'd be more labor intensive that I think it is.
I can put up with long restroom lines. I can put up with small, cramped restrooms. I can put up with having to sneak my own liquor in. Even with the wifi, hell I'm not trying to use my phone anyway. But the TVs in the concourses are laughable. It really is embarrassing. Those TVs are the last of its kind.

The only downvote must have been Eddie Nunez.

Obviously you've never been to Knoxville.

WiFi! WTF...
This generation cannot go 3 hours without Wifi. That is why we now have safe zones in a college.

Lol if you think it's just "this generation" (whatever that even means) that gets impatient at these games.

Screw all that. Schedule real games, not rent-a-wins. Wifi, chair backs, flat screens, band, etc. doesn't change the fact that it's not an exciting football game. The problem isn't the fans, it's the athletic department.
I've thought from the time that this began, not that many years ago, that rent-a-wins should count as a loss in the polls. When you schedule a UNT, WKy, USAl , NWSt, etc., you are saying you don't want to play a game that week, but want to collect the cash and pretend that your w-l record is better than it is.
Props to fans that leave early.
I'll upvote myself here since nobody else will. Carry on.

Wouldnt be so bad to go grab some concession during the game with actual working tvs that didnt have static. Also could have used some working tvs during that Hot arse Auburn game last year when I had to go in the concession area to escape the heat some times through out the game.

I somewhat agree with your post, stop scheduling Neutral site games! I will add this to the list

It is 100% about the traffic. Booze, wifi and flat screens are all great additions, but 100% of the people leaving early do so because they don't want to sit in the car for hours.
How about having those traffic cops that don't direct traffic actually direct traffic?
I don't understand why we pay them to work gameday traffic and they just sit an their cars and read Tigerdroppings.
