My wife and I have season tickets in 212 in lower NE-EZ and have had them since 1982. Parking has driven me crazy, so I now sell 5 of my 7 home games tickets to a young man/friend. (We live in EBRP)

On Saturday morning, I was out for my usual walk at 9am and a man who I usually wave to when I walk came out to me and asked me if I wanted 4 FREE tickets to the OM game. He said his boss gave them to him on Friday because NO ONE ELSE IN THE OFFICE WANTED THEM! The tickets were in section 102 on lower west side. Those seats were vacant on Sat. I told him to call me whenever he has free tickets and I'll find someone to use them.

I don't think you understand how big of an undertaking it would be to move the field elevation 1', much less 6'. That is pretty much impossible.

Raise the entire stadium 6'

Herein lies a major problem with the empties in the West (and to a large extent East) lower bowl. Push students and individuals out with pricing that only businesses can easily afford, and the businesses buy them as employee perks or to maintain relationships with the University, or just because it's what the company across the street does. The AD doesn't really care if the seats aren't occupied on Saturday, because they already have the money.

LET THE BANDS PLAY. Throw the PA announcer off the top deck. I gave up my season tickets in the end zone because dude don’t shut up with the ads. It’s miserable!!!!!

I don't go to games unless I can afford to sit between rows 11 and 18 in the lower sections. If can't sit in those sections and rows I'm watching it on the tv at a bar or at my house.

It’s not that crazy to think we could re-do the seating including raising the first 10 rows or so

Knock off both upper decks and make a bad arse 70,000 seat stadium that is state of the art in everyway and that has incredible concessions.

Sounds great until that drives ticket prices even further through the roof. If y’all think prices are bad now, eliminate 30k seats to the supply.

I don’t think it’s feasible to reduce capacity to the point that TS is full pretty much every game (aside from out of conference of course), but a slight reduction would be enough to fill the stadium for games like last Saturday or the Saturday in two weeks.

My solution would be to get rid of the bleachers and add actual seating throughout the lower bowl. Fan comfort should be a big focus. Would be a lot more aesthetically pleasing as well probably:

But they haven’t even committed to chairbacking all of the Box yet, so Tiger Stadium is a pipe dream lol

Lower the field? Just take in two rows of seats and put something cool there like vendors or something.

Traffic is one of the biggest obstacles. They have added over 40,000 seats since the 70’s with the same road infrastructure. The math just doesn’t add up. No one wants to spend 3 hours in traffic just to exit the stadium. This is what happens if 102,000 stay for an entire game.

I think they need to make the upper decks more family friendly, cheaper options to bring the family Maybe have cheaper concessions in the upper deck as well Block out some sections, make the individual seats larger so you can spread out more

You can’t give those tickets away for some games. This simply wouldn’t help.

People aren’t going at full capacity unless it’s the biggest of games.

Over half of the students don’t know the first thing about football. It’s a social event and a reason to get drunk.

I know they're necessary but commercial breaks just kill the atmosphere the last 5 to 10 years or so.

It's not going away so I think we need to figure 9ut a way to make this time more bearable in the stadium.
