Softball HC's comments

What does it mean when a HC refers to her team, in the third person?
What does it mean, AFTER GETTING SWEPT BY one of the 3 or 4 teams above LSU, when the same HC declares in resignation, "That's life in the SEC!"???
LSU Softball is no longer the dominant team, inherited by that woman who runs softball today.
We have talent and we have the facilities, but we have scheduled many weak teams and have lost to EVERY RANKED TEAM ON THE SCHEDULE.
But I guess the facility has not yet grown roots and the YOUTH has not congealed? What a deal! I feel like I am watching "Annie," on broadway. It is always a story about TOMORROW!!

B-b-but it was against the Ruptured Ducks and insignificants of the Softball Scene.

The Northeastern pitcher was a great "country school pitcher," but in the SEC, she is really not that great.
Girouard is a USL Cajun and until they run her off, she'll keep raking it in at LSU's expense.
Title IX is a reality! Get a f'ing HC who can handle the top teams. We are paying a king's ransom for mediocrity and we have top notch facilities. Don't think we are not really talented, WE ARE, we just have a limited HC. She shot her goodies at USL. She's played out and just cannot compete vs. Alabama/Florida/Tennessee/etc. Besides having the game pass her by, I really do not think she has the required motivation.
Get a coach and get a return on the millions spent on that insignificant sport. For that matter, do the same with all sports. You have to have them? Get somebody who can win, do like Brodhead used to do. Realize that the marketing of successful minor sports, is marketing you CANNOT BUY OR GET OTHERWISE! DAMMIT

Get a clue when you make a statement that they've lost to every ranked team.
They beat North Carolina and DePaul who were ranked at the time they played them and have also beaten Oklahoma State, which has also been ranked.
They lost two one-run games to Texas,2-0 to Michigan and 2-1 to Florida in the second game of the series. The only game they lost decisively to a ranked team was the third game to Florida.

I do not and will not go to softball games. But my football tickets fund the softball program and every other sport on campus. So I feel a right to express my opinion.

They have beaten 5 ranked teams to the baseballs 1. They have not lost but 1 series this year to the #6 team in the country and leading the sec west.

That Softball HC may have achieved, IN THE PAST, but she is obviously ABOVE HER HEAD with the top SEC programs. LSU is maybe, maybe, 4th. She inherited the SEC's top program. It is one excuse after another.
BTW..she lost to North Carolina. If you start saying the BEAT TEAM X WHO BEAT TEAM Y AND LOST TO TEAM Z, RANKED IN THE TOP 10. Your argument is simply personal. It is not an argument, it is part of the excuse litany, we have come to accept. You get paid, you perform. This is LSU, not USL.

Feb 13th defeated NC 6-3. and for your info when YG came to LSU the sec wasnt a major softball conferance. Now the SEC is thought of as one of the elite confer. in softball trailing only the PAC-10.

This stuff is freaking funny, the other day it was ULL is nothing since Giraud left, LSU is the only program in the state, ULL are bottom feeders and their fans are jealous of LSU and its facilities.... i can go on and on
Its softball people, all it takes is for one team to have a dominant pitcher and the series is pretty much over.
