I was happy we didn't go up by 1 in the bottom of the 6th. I knew we had a chance going into the 7th tied instead of up by 1.
Who pitches tomorrow?
Still need to win one more game to host a regional IMO. A win tomorrow and two wins at Arkansas should be enough for a top 8 seed. It won't be easy.

Just got back home in Houston area from both baseball and softball. Both were awesome & softball played really well. It was well worth me making the drive both ways today..
Funny thing of the softball game... Chris Guillot shows up right in fron of us in the 4th or 5th and started with the cheers like at baseball. The fans were loud as he led the cheers because it wasn't loud the entire game. The self proclaimed super fan with the wraslin belt did cheer with him and buried his head in his phone. Guess since he wasn't the point of attention, he got quiet.

Error was relief-feeling!! Didn't want to go into extras with the Gators.
Syd was absolutely marvelous. If we want any chance to get to OKC, we MUST have THIS Syd, or there is no shot for us. Tori can't carry the team alone when things get tough. Win felt good, but these next 4 games will decide Regionals and maybe even Supers playing location.

This is not true. You don't just go around firing coaches who make the super-regional more years than not unless you have "softball Kim Mulkey" lined up, and that person does not exist.

Actually, we really don't have that much talent at all this year. Last year, we had a lot of talent.
The hitting coach is doing a fantastic job with what he has this year.
They have to win today because Ark is now ranked 2nd in the country and we go there next weekend.
Good news is that if we win that series it could put us back into the top 8. Bad news, if we get swept, we might not even host a regional.

Agree with everything in that post!!! Berzon must throw 2 games vs the pigs, that’s what front line pitchers do!! Looking to next yr, they need 5-6 portal adds including a number 1 type pitcher and bigger stronger kids with juice!

The main thing they have to do is retain Torie Edwards.....She is going to get some offers that we will have to exceed if we want to keep her UNLESS she is not about money and loves LSU so much that she would not entertain offers from other teams. I don't know her maybe you do

Nope, I don’t know Edwards however it was mentioned on here that her brother is part of the football team. LSU is a huge brand and I’m sure she will have numerous opportunities for NIL, there is no other schools in the country that does a better job with its women athletes getting them access to money than LSU
