No, he hasn’t. He lost a vocal minority on this site. Saying he lost a substantial portion of the fan base is like saying the liberal twitter blue checks represent mainstream American thought.
And if someone can’t see why Wade had to go I don’t think anyone here can help them.

The majority of lsu fans don’t even know who will wade is, they love LSU regardless. Wade needed and deserved to be fired.

With NIL now common place, LSU could have instead fought for him and eventually made players receiving money from whatever avenues essentially similar.
Instead they very unceremoniously fired him, completely wrecking the team literally RIGHT before the tournament.
We've skullfricked our best chance at a successful basketball program. And I'm still pissed about it. I don't think any of you understand how bad we're about to be... for a very very long time.

I am not arguing he was a bad coach and even not arguing he shouldn't been fired. Actually this guy was on the edge of bringing LSU basketball to the pinnacle as I said in my post.
He was fired and I understand why so I moved on as do most people.
I could give a shite about him getting caught and his stupid sloppy methods but he doesn't work for me and his boss didn't like it so he fired him, end of story and move on bud.

WHY he fired Wade is irrelevant because it’s done. What matters is the outcome long term and we will have to wait and see. Even if Woodward gave me a reason I found satisfactory I would still judge him on how it panned out, not if it was the right decision at the time. That’s how life works in the big leagues, Poncho.

As you get older you realize they are getting paid and should be anyway. Just let it out in the open. So I really don’t give a frick we offered any one anything. This shite goes on in a lot of sports across college.
It’s going to ruin it for some, but these are adults laboring to put a product out.
