No need for QB issue. If Etling fails, we run the option with Scott, Guice and LF7. Pass sparingly. I am good with this. Whatever it takes. That is why Les/Cam gets paid.

We didn't go 3 and out because we had trouble running the ball. We went 3 and out because we had a false start penalty on 3rd and 2 and threw the ball 4 times on the first 6 plays. The other 2 plays were a 3 yard rush and a Guice draw on 3rd and 8.
We could have run over JVSU all day if we wanted to do so. We ran the ball for 7.3 yards per attempt between the start of the second half and McMillian's completion with 1:44 left in the game. No completions during that stretch. A few ugly play calls. We still ran the ball at will. The point is that we didn't need to pass to open up the running game against JSU. Wisconsin? Sure. SEC play? Of course. Not JSU.

It would provide further evidence that it's a system and coaching problem rather than a personnel problem. There's just no way a program like LSU can have so many bad QB's.
