This is exactly right. I seen a bunch of people saying we need Hayden Johnson, the Coastal reliever who just had a sub 3 era with a ton of strikeouts in 30 innings… thing is, he had an ERA around 7 the year before. The coaches developed him, he’s now one of the best relievers in college baseball. Why can’t Paz, Rickens, etc get that same level of development? Those guys have all the talent in the world. That needs to be the primary thing addressed.

Sure, but all of the top teams this year have high level transfers that put them to the top. Every single one of them. In the landscape today you are not surviving if you don’t utilize the transfer portal appropriately.
