And it is 10:35 AM on Saturday and it has yet to rain.

lets see. how about let the weather come thru early afternoon and play at 6pm as planned?

So your big brain idea is to do nothing and complain when we can't play?

Les Miles has lost control of the weather forecasts

If you could read a radar you would know the weather is moving through Baton Rouge 12pm-4pm.

If it would of rained you would complain about not moving the game up or moving it to a time to miss the rain.

Several of you have not followed the logic here.
I am questioning why Jay Johnson once again moved a game on a workday into work hours and it never rained. There was a comment on the Rant yesterday that someon said "the Box is really starting to fill up now"... it was the 5th inning. I'm sure all of those people would have enjoyed being in their seats for the first few innings.
I am not saying anything about today.

You should have saved a day of PTO and taken it Friday so you could enjoy the game.

It's starting to rain by me. Wind is picking up.

I don't think you are one that should be posting about people following logic.
At the time the game moved, there was a solid chance of raining starting Friday night, before the original start time would have ended. LSU needs the ability to play all 3 games against Mizzou, and all 9 inning games (assuming we don't 10 run rule). Every SEC win is huge, and having one of these games canceled would be terrible. That's the logic used, that you can't comprehend. I'm sorry your burger king shift didn't end till 6.

Jay is not a meteorologist so he has to depend on the “expert” meteorologists to make his decisions. And as you know….even the experts can be wrong at times.
This wasn’t to be a general rainfall rain event making its way to Baton Rouge that you can watch the radar and make a decision well in advance. It was supposed to be quickly developing individual storms or a line that nobody could predict exactly when and where they would occur….the experts thought it would be later in the evening so Jay moved the game time up.
Jay is trying to win a championship and doing everything he can to do so. LSU has a good chance to sweep its first SEC series. It gets much harder after this weekend. It would not have been good to have a rain delay or eventual postponement of yesterday’s game after only a couple of innings and burn Kade Anderson for the rest of the weekend. The pitching would have been disrupted and stretched for the rest of the weekend.
Jay made a good decision based on the facts that were given to him. The forecast didn’t materialize but that’s what happens sometimes.
