Even better to beat Bama in the playoffs, IMO.

Or a 1 loss Clemson team, whether they lose in the ACCCG or in the regular season (doubtful on either front), their resume is weak and 1 loss LSU should get in over them

Clemson isn’t losing.

Yeah, they are playing like shite, but that entire conference, other than Clemson, are a bunch of Mississippi States or worse.

We would need OU, OSU, or Clempson to drop a game

Silliness.

Auburn is having a field day with all the Bama obsession here during Auburn week though. Auburn is bringing the best team we'll face in TigerStadium this year. They are in a must win situation. Florida was not.

LSU won't overlook Auburn, but Auburn sure as hell won't overlook LSU. Posters don't need to "focus". However, the Bamacessed posters here will look pretty dumb if LSU lays an egg this week.

Why would you want to play bama twice and still have to play Ohio state?

I'm good with rare.

It is rare for a college QB to be over 70% completions 7 games in a row (and 3 of those over 80%)

Yeah. Rare works.

Same odds as E$PN getting through a Winnipeg-San Jose hockey game without mentioning West Side Story!

I hate to say it but yes the scenario of when Georgia and Bama played in the NC game could come back...Although it would be tougher because they then would have to put 2 teams from the same division within the same conference in the playoffs...If we beat Bama we need to hope for OU, OSU and Clemson to win out....if we lose to bama close we need the above 3 to drop one game...i believe thats the two scenarios of us getting in...and obviously us winning out the rest of the games

Tennessee players kept that from happening. They kept shooting themselves in the foot.

Tenn had a legit shot of hanging with them and the zebras kept that from happening.

Guarantano was absolute garbage in that game. They had receivers wide open in the second half. If Mauer had played the whole game they would have given Bama a big scare.

Oh, wait, Saban doesn’t think strength of schedule is a factor

FIFY. The midget will spend their week off while we are locked up in a rematch with UF making the round of the talk shows campaigning and whining about not being at full strength. “The SEC is hard”. “No, I don’t remember saying you need to win your conference to get in, aight?”

We’ve seen this movie before. Alabama loves them a mulligan. Now ask the real question. We lose to them, on the road, in a super close shootout, then curb stomp the three little runts left on our schedule. Do WE get a do-over?
