getting hot, like we have been the last 5-6 weeks is one thing. continuing that, and winning this tournament will do nothing but give some guys some added opportunities in pressure filled situations....to get to that, and win it, would only help these guys going forward. i say lets roll.

This is the time to see what pitchers can step up and help us in the rest of the post season. We want to win obviously, but experimenting with the pitchers is ok now as we are safely in the regionals.

An SEC tourney win is nothing to sneeze at, especially after a NATTY.., and what most would call a bad season., But we are still swinging.. so.. I say .. Play to win... There is no tomorrow. We are not guaranteed anything... WIN...

The teams here are CWS caliber.

There is no "almost for sure". It is definitive.

Yeah win tomorrow then it’s back to single elimination. Once your to Saturday, play and let the chips fall where they may. The last 2 days we’ve seen the bats really come alive from guys who’ve struggled and pitching damn near perfection.

Agreed! If they can keep producing runs like this, they'll be hard to beat.

“YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!”

like you watched a Schoolhouse Rock coaching cartoon.. Thanks

You think these games mean the same to everyone? Is TN, KY, or ARKY, approaching this tourney the same way the WE are? I don't see any of those teams burning themselves out to win THIS thing. It would be huge for US, or USCe?

I think we should try and win it. The team just needs this. The arms are the only issue and I will trust Jay on this.

What do we want? We are LSU a national icon and powerhouse in CBB, we want to be in the CWS. We are a Blue Blood of College baseball therefore we expect to be in the CWS every year. That’s how the mentality of every Blue blood program in any sports is.

It's seems we are getting better contact singles putting it in the holes also. Not swing for a homerun everytime. Especially at the bigger parks like hoover and omaha.

Well, the team is on a tear in the back half of conference play and now the SECT. It’s not a coincidence.

Wouldn't call it a "tear" considering they lost the second to last SEC series in ugly fashion against Alabama. Just giving games away. And that series was very important.

And yes, everyone understands the back half of the SEC schedule was much easier than the first half. LSU could have shown up for the first half of SEC play though, and not lost series' to Mississippi State and on the bubble Florida and Vanderbilt. Let's not act like the first half was some gauntlet.

This is an Omaha offense and probably a top 5 offense in the country. The problem has been consistent pitching.

Now THAT'S a hot take

My goodness. It really is scary to think that there are adults this stupid roaming around free in the world who are allowed to operate cars without a chaperone.

LA Tech has a better shot at hosting a regional than the Cajuns do.
