My stance has always been that O never should have been hired in the first place. But since he was, there's nothing any of us can do about it now, so I support the team and hope for the best. But after what happened last night, it just reaffirms my original opinion that he isn't up for the job. Just my two cents.

No shite.

It’s been this way for a decade.

I wish I could bring back the thread trying to inject some logic on the E buzz after the Missouri game....essentially saying wait, you don’t know an OC’s worth until other teams have film to scheme against him with.

I’ve never been all in with O, nod do I think he’s a pile of crap. He’s a pretty good recruiter and motivator who can lead us to marginal success but will never get us all the way back over the hump, especially not in the same division as Saban and having to face Mullen and UF every year. Not much else to say at this point.

I think he's doing a great job. He's more upset than anyone about losing to Bama and he'll work that much harder. Geaux Tigers!

I was deciding to read only in this thread but you made me come out. Put down the crack pipe bud

I’ve never been “all in” on Orgeron and I’ve also never thought of him as a “pile of crap.”

I also don’t believe he will ever win a national championship as head football coach at LSU.

Sadly he's not killing it on the recruiting trail, we are in a huge need for dl and have nothing, if we lose some of these Jrs (which they don't need to leave) we will be completely fd. He had a huge stage to shine to show recruits we are right there, but instead fell flat and showed how huge that gap is between lsu and bama. Hopefully he can turn it around and for his sake he better hope he can get those dl Jrs to stay

Seems we were united on Coach O before the game and all in for him. After the beat down we are back to a divided fan base and the Nega Tigers saying he should not be our coach and he is crap. I guess par for the course for our fan base.

Was supportive of O heading into this game because he absolutely earned it. We beat Georgia, Miami and Auburn. That loss to Florida could have happened to Les and guess what, it could have also happened to the Nick Saban that coached at LSU. I would not have batted an eye at a close loss to Bama. But this loss wasn’t close. We got run out of our own house with a 30 point beatdown. The LSU Bama rivalry is not much different than the Tennessee/Bama rivalry at this point. That is unacceptable. And it is the result of a talent gap at the HC and OC positions.

Yes we do. And your obsessive poison spewing is evident to every recruit in the country.
NeverOs do not use normal means for stating their opinion. They are relentless, disrespectful, and monotonous. They think the world needs to hear their negative opinions of the LSU football program over and over and over again.
It is pathetic!

He couldn’t beat the greatest coach in the history of college football, so he’s got to go.

For the billionth time, a head coach's performance at LSU is a fluid situation. There is no such thing as "earning the job permanently." Example: you drive a fed ex route for 15 yrs. You NEVER call out sick or even get lost or deliver to the wrong address. Start of year 16, you start calling out twice a week, and you misdeliver multiple packages. You can go from being the best fed ex driver to getting your arse fired quickly, same as an LSU fb coach.

Ah, it’s ‘The Rant’ and after a loss, a great place to vent. Lighten up and have fun with it.

Is this your first minute on TD? You been here long enough to know man.

To Original post: And that is why I now avoid the rant for the most part. Place is full of idiots.

We were not going to be Alabama this year. And it was so predictable that the O band wagon would be abandoned by many here just because we lost to the best team to play college football this decade if not longer.

The negativity sucks. But I am smart enough to know the never O'ers would jump ship immediately.
