You need to take a step back from the keyboard. You’re melting here and on the recruiting board. Can you limit your melt to one board at least?

You're embarrassing yourself. Take a few months off and then quit.

You really should find another program to "root" for.

Did you not get enough downvotes on the recruiting board? You needed to come collect some more on the rant?

If you are looking for people to support your "sky is falling" attitude, I suggest the SEC rant. The other teams will gladly join you in predicting the demise of the LSU program.

I really don't know why people think it takes years or a decade to rebuild a program.

See SMU, Tennessee, Nebraska, Texas, USC, FSU, and Miami as examples of top dogs who fell and are struggling to get back up.

Sure the Baylor and Penn states of the world lend hope but more often than not, programs struggle to get back up once they have fallen.

Orgeron has to go at the end of the year. The best possible thing that could happen to LSU is the investigation implicates Orgeron in some way so they could get off without owing him a dime

You know you can wait until February when the recruiting class is actually done to decide if it is the end of the world right? Don’t need to melt over recruiting the first week of December.

the program was shut down for 2 years that's a little different.

Nebraska is a different case because there were changes in the CFB in general that eliminated their advantages, the rest are all struggling because they made bad coaching hires. That can be easily fixed.
ETA: Neb has also made bad hires and could do much better just not to their 70's 80's 90's level

LSU had 6 straight losing seasons from 89-94, in Gerry D's 2nd year we went 10-2. After he fell apart in his last year years going 4-7, 3-8. Saban came in and went 8-4 then made the SEC CG for the first time and won it year 2 and won the BCS CG in year 4.

Oklahoma had 4 straight seasons of no better than .500 in the late 90's then hired Bob Stoops he went 7-5 in year 1 and 13-0 NC in year 2.

On a lower scale Houston was a disaster for more than a decade in the 90's following probation and getting left out of the Big12, Briles came in and year 4 won 10 games, they have had 2 losing seasons and 2 13-1 seasons since.

Hiring the right coach is all that matters. It doesn't matter how bad the team was before that, or even the cause (scandal, NCAA violations, terrible coaches )the right coach can turn around pretty quickly.

I don’t like the star ranking business much, but if you go off that, the 2 decommits were 3 stars. This is probably some purging to make room for better players. Calm down.
