So Rece Davis should still put Tennessee ahead of LSU right?

Because his most important metric is they beat LSU by 4 touchdowns at home right. We both now have the same amount of losses, so that shouldnt matter. Will be interested on what he says on the next show.

Knowing him and how rustled he sounded in his video call addressing his reasoning, it’s obvious he reads here, so I have no doubt he’ll have some position of resistance to lsu being in. Still will use the Tennessee game and now he can knob off on usc.

The reason the Tennessee talk mattered is because if it came down to the CFP taking LSU, Georgia, or Tennessee there is a legitimate reason for them to take either. Now it is just down to LSU and Georgia (they won’t take a two loss non division winner in Tennessee) so the winner of the SEC championship is in no matter what any other conference does.
