So now we will start a true freshman at QB, combined with the worst D in LSU history

Y’all do realize what’s about to happen, right?

The rest of the season will be like the Curley days.

If you expect it and adjust your expectations, you can only be pleasantly surprised.

But 1-9 isn’t out of the question. I hope I’m wrong, but with such a shitty defense, the offense needs to be firing on all cylinders. A freshman qb with no experience, a below average o line, a crappy run game, ouch. Curley usually had talent at the skill positions, but obviously that isn’t enough.

Downvote away. I hope I’m wrong, but I doubt I am.

1-9 wasn’t out of the question before Myles got injured.

On the flip side, Pelini knows he has to show improvement if he wants to be employed in 2021, so maybe they get it figured out.

Picked against the Tigers for the first time ever today. Hate it, but I don't see Bo fixing anything.

Clearly you weren’t around for the Hallman years.

Yep. I was. I remember 2-9. I remember 58-3. I think it will get that bad.

If you’d have told me we’d have the best tiger season ever followed by the worst team in decades, I’d take it. We have good players. We’ll recover.

Week off will help. Team will be focused on helping young QB. We win by field goal at the buzzer...

Any recruit for defense should be licking their chops right now because if they're worth a shite they could start right away.

LSU has had some really fricking atrocious starts in the past 7 years. 2014, 2016, 2017, kinda 2018 (preseason expectation of 6-6 and then the SELA and LT games). They've gotten better every single time, even with some really bad coaching staffs. I'm not expecting much improvement, but I'm also not gonna be miserable and assume we're going 1-9.

Arkansas has a terrible offense, Ole Miss a terrible defense, Auburn is bad everywhere, Aggie is Aggie. There is a reason for just a slimmer of hope if Myles can get back after the Bama game.

The point is whether or not they can improve from where they're at now. I don't expect them to finish as strongly as any of those teams. I think the margin at the bottom of the west is closer than some of y'all believe and they can pick a few wins *if they improve*. If it all stays the same yeah no chance they win more than 1 game.

Also, y'all should really go back and look at some of those years. 2014 and 2016 specifically. I have never seen LSU get outmatched like they were against Auburn and that was an extremely mediocre team.
