Nobody expected to repeat but certainly didn’t expect to be 1-2 playing the worst teams in the SEC. I get why people are pissed it really is the worst LSU defense I’ve seen since Lou tepper

Losing like we did to Miss St. looks even worse now.

It's like people thought LSU was just going to run the table this season.
You know there’s a difference between not running the table and losing to two bottom feeders, right?

This is such a scary thought

There is a million mile wide gap of thinking they should run the table/thinking they shouldnt lose to miss state and Mizzou

Miss State and Mizzou are 0-4 combined when not playing LSU

LSU has had some really fricking atrocious starts in the past 7 years. 2014, 2016, 2017, kinda 2018 (preseason expectation of 6-6 and then the SELA and LT games). They've gotten better every single time, even with some really bad coaching staffs
2014
wasn't an atrocious start and even though we lost to Miss St in game 4, we almost came back and won and that team was the best Miss St team this century. That season wasn't a bad start, it was mediocre the entire year. The early problem was letting dual threat QBs run all over us.

2016
We started off 2-2 yes, but those two losses were very close on the road in hostile environments. Versus Auburn the road in a packed environment on a do or die game for both head coaches involved and we lost at the very end. Same with Wisconsin in Lambeau Stadium losing at the very end by two. Also Wisconsin was 11-3 and was 7 points from being the Big 10 champ (their 3 losses came against teams that finished in the top 6). It also never got better after that. We won the games we should have and lost to all the ranked teams we played before the bowl game.

2017
That was not an atrocious start, and we did not get better. I said this plenty during and after that season, LSU's record was cheap. We played 7 teams that had 7-6 or lower records and/or fired their coach, and/or were FCS (and bad FCS to boot). BYU, Syracuse, Arkansas, Tennessee and Chattanooga all had 4 or less wins. Ole Miss was 6-6, and TAMU was 7-6 with all their wins coming against horrible teams.

This 2020 team is playing bad vs really bad teams. The 3 opponents we've played have two total wins, both against us.

Arkansas has a terrible offense, Ole Miss a terrible defense, Auburn is bad everywhere, Aggie is Aggie. There is a reason for just a slimmer of hope if Myles can get back after the Bama game.

Arkansas's Franks would be the best QB we've played, let that sink in. There defense is also way better than anything we've played.

Ole Miss does have a terrible defense, but unless we can fool Corral like Arkansas did, then they will hang 50. Even after that terrible showing vs Arkansas, they are still 7th in total offense and 20th in scoring offense.

Auburn is bad, but they've had some good home cooking this year in two specific games in their stadium. That game is a genuine toss up that I think we'd win if it were at home. My fear though, is that we make Bo Nix look like a QB version of Bo Jackson.

TAMU, I think, is improving. Now they are playing against bad defenses, hell, who isn't, but Spiller their RB has gone over 110 yards in 3 of their 4 games and averaged nearly 7 yards a carry. Because of their recent play, and ours, I no longer consider this game a toss up. All I can do is hope we improve enough to sway that opinion back into another direction.

as long as it doesnt hurt recruiting i dont care.. last year was worth it...

if you try to watch games with the view point of just "trying to improve" the games will get alot better... watch for imporvement and praise it.. try not to shite on the players/coaches because THAT can hurt recruiting... Ed cant stand losing either... dont pile it on... hell were lucky to have football in all this 2020 shite show..

if we get behind the players on social media and they realize that we have their backs no matter what, youll see them practice and play their hearts out for everyone...

support them...

it doesnt mean your "ok" with losing... it just means youre realistic in the grand scheme of things...
