This reminds me of JBE saying the LSU football season may have to be cancelled back in 2016 or 2017 due to the budget cuts and taxes situation. Just a complete bullshite headline being used as a scare tactic.

The SEC office and Delly should be embarrassed that something like that is getting printed.

I liked this little nugget from this "kick LSU out of the SEC" article.

quote:

The Tigers aren't necessarily alone in intentionally leaving open roster spots for pro players and/or those transferring within the league outside of the portal window. Texas has a player, Cole Hutson, who participated in minicamp with two NFL teams, received a state injunction and is practicing with the Longhorns. Kentucky was expected to sign former Missouri player Mark Mitchell, who played games in the NBA summer league.

However, Mitchell re-enrolled at Missouri on Monday, according to multiple reports — possibly the result of the SEC's new policies.

Either way, LSU has been the most aggressive, with their brash coach and even the Louisiana governor leading the way.

Sure, other schools are doing it too. But LSU is being "brash" about it. Kick them out!

has always hated LSU. Even in 2019 when they would interview him on ESPN or the SEC Network he came across like a pilot being held hostage by an enemy country sending a message back. Guy would have a blank look on his face and very methodically say ,"yes, Joe Burrow is a good player and they have a good team. Now can we PLEASE go back to getting kiss Nick Saban's ring??"

There is something more to this pissing match than this and both sides are playing a game of chicken.

LSU has to ask itself are these few players worth the trouble of the the thing they don't want getting out, getting out.
