Well, that's better than not making the tournament the last 4 seasons. LSU "bumbled" into the tournament once in 5 seasons when your favorite, Johnny Jones, was head coach.
Under Wade, LSU made the tournament every year there was one (and would have made it had COVID not canceled the 2020 tournament) except for his first season.

As someone who has re-hired a few previously fired employees, I agree. However, Wade was not fired because his teams were bad. He was fired for is now 100% legal in college sports.

We fired the guy that fired the coach. I've definitely seen where a manager was replaced for making bad decisions and former good employees came back successfully. Happens all the time in construction. CEO's/Upper Managment have to recognize when middle management is making bad decisions on personnel and make changes in the organization to build a better team.
