It is absolutely insane! However, Notre Dame is not part of any conference when it comes to football and they are basically put at the top of every football ranking every year. Maybe we should be like Notre Dame?

They will vote to expel or not. The lawsuit is there in case it does become a legal battle, the venue is set. In an Alabama courtroom…

I’ll explain and any of you who don’t like it can suck my dick.

They’re claiming loss of institutional control.

> NCAA tried to ban LSU from playing two players.
> NCAA was told it couldn't do this.
> Since NCAA failed, SEC tried to ban LSU from playing two players.
> SEC was grouped with the NCAA and told it couldn't do this.
> SEC wanted to nuke LSU, was told this would be contempt of court.
> SEC is suing and claiming this is a breach of the 1st Amendment (right of association)

So Sankey says it’s about following the rules he establishes as the commissioner. LSU says the rule he made was flawed because it screwed the class of 2022. Sankey refuses to address that point hoping most people won’t notice. LSU is right but most of the country won’t acknowledge it, mostly out of ignorance. Sad times!

It is all about loop holes! Ole Miss quarterback found a loophole to be able to come back for another year and Lane Kiffin found a loophole. The thing is the SEC didn’t like Lane Kiffin’s loophole! So, they decided to go after one loophole but not the other. Such bullshite!

The thing is Lane Kiffin decided not to play the players that the SEC is deeming professional players. Good thing is they are not going to play those players. They are not going to put them on the roster, but the SEC still wants to throw out LSU as part of the SEC? What the frick does that make sense?

I am starting to say, let’s be like Notre Dame. They are not required to be part of any conference when it comes to football and they get every benefit of the doubt and put in the top every year. Let’s do the same thing Notre Dame does!

It's not about players and never has been. It's about Kiffin. They (meaning the SEC, presidents, ADs, some coaches) hate him. When he left Ole Miss before the playoffs it was the straw that broke the camels back. I think they've been looking for a reason to come after Kiffin and LSU for hiring him. If any other coach did this, and they did ie Golding and Beamer, it would not have provoked this response from the SEC.

Lane’s joke at halftime hurt Greggy’s fragile feelings. That’s the crux of it.

We aren't ND. We don't have the media clout. Maybe Notre Dame and LSU could woo some other schools sick of the SEC/B10/B12 and start a new conference. Make St. Nick the commissioner. But then why would ND want to get beat by LSU every year when they can play Rice and Army.

I agree with you!! it makes no sense that Lane Kiffin decided not to play or put what the SEC and NCAA called these so-called players as professional NFL players on the roster, but the SEC still comes back to try to kick LSU out of the conference? This is absolutely insane and stupid!

That’s the problem:

They never did this. They never fought. Resisted. Advocated.

A judge ruled that the rule was flawed with no involvement from LSU.

If they were free to play, sure, we’ll take ya.

Then the SEC starts this bullshite PR campaign that this is all a Machiavellian plot organized by LSU.

How can there be lack of institutional control when we have not broken a rule?

Serious question. What rule has been broken? And if there isn’t one, how is there lack of institutional control?

Based on what exactly?

Kiffin trolling the SEC during a sideline interview?

The SEC told us that we couldn't roster the 2 players. We complied.

We didn't break any rules. Stankey is butt hurt because Kiffin made fun of him on national television and LSU's lawyers made him look like a dumbass on the stand.
