per espn

quote:

Keiland Williams, RB, LSU: If it's not Murphy breaking out for the Tigers, then maybe it's Williams, who needs to prove he's not a fumbler.

its not a shot at LSU (for those that feel espn hates LSU) but i did think it was strange.

from yesterday but i did not see anything about it.

I don't think he's laid one down in a game yet.

ESPN wants to burn down Tiger Stadium and piss on the ashes.

Players occasionally fumble the ball. I would not classify him as having a "fumbling problem". We'll be putting up on shitload of yards running the ball this year and Keiland will put up some big numbers along with Murphy and Scott.

I'm fairly sure he hasn't either. Maybe he's always fumbling in practice, I don't know.

144 attempts the last 2 years and 0 fumbles.

As a team we fumbled 18 times last season and lost only 3.

Nice job ESPN!

I always knew Keiland was more reliable than Hester.

Its funny how people (media) are so starved for insider info so they can make a comment or a statement that hasn't already been said 1000 times, they don't do enough of their own research. Many of us heard about Keiland fumbling in practice or some such during the spring. Im sure this guy heard that and put it on paper without looking to much into it. To my knowlege he has not lost a fumble in a game.

When you try to break down 25-50-80 teams it is impossible to do the proper research on all the player. Unlike 50 years ago, these sports writers are not telling us anything we don't already know about our own team so they are more open to bashing.

Did any of you attend the spring game? KW fumbled on his 5th carry and promptly got yanked for a while, allowing Richard Murphy to shine.

Here's a quote from Coach Miles.

quote:

“I liked the way we rushed the ball on offense. (Richard) Murphy was very loose and fast. He had a very strong showing. Keiland Williams had some nice carries, but no back can put the ball on the ground. He (Williams) did that, and that’s an issue.”

So now a fumble in a spring game brings the diagnosis of fumble-itis?

So, a spring game fumble > 140 something real live game carries without a fumble?

let's just assume that he fumbled in the spring game because the players on our defense are such dominate hitters that anyone would have fumbled and that there's no way we fumble against anyone else...

Nice!!!Hester doesn't even play for LSU anymore and you douchebags had rather compare KW to him than to the other runningbacks that are actually on the team...
