We beat AL to win SEC-W then beat TN in the rematch or GA would the SEC champion not be in the playoffs?

Just stop. One game at a time and don’t look ahead. To answer you, we would be in the playoffs.

We would be in but let’s slow down and take this one game at a time. I am over the moon right now and just enjoying this team and how far they have come. Just soak it in and enjoy this season one week at a time.

Stop doing this to yourself, people.

I guess if we beat Bama, then there might be a point in thinking about this.

SEC champ gets to the playoffs. Doesn't matter who it is. You can't keep the SEC out and have a legit champion.

No one is downvoting because they don’t like the scenario. They’re downvoting the socialization of the thought.

I'm just asking the question because right now there are some very interesting scenarios unfolding.

What happens if AL wins out then beats an unbeaten UT in the SEC game?

TN and AL gonna have to play each other a 3rd time in the playoffs?

You could have a 1loss GA, 1loss TN and a 1loss AL in the playoffs.

A few heads could explode

There will probably be at least four other teams with no more than one loss so I doubt it. I wouldn't even be mad about being left out. We're so much better off than I expected.

Big Ten champ rounds it out, that actually sounds reasonable. Who else deserves it? A gone loss Oregon team that got steamrolled by Georgia probably doesn’t get in over defending champ Georgia. Clemson might end up undefeated but they’ve struggled against some very mediocre ACC teams and don’t have any marquee wins.

A 2 loss SEC champion would definitely get in the CFP in my opinion.

We win the Nattie.

Just that simple. Not arguable.

So I say let's do that!
