is for game day revenue, just how many people are they realistically expecting to come to the game at this point? The attendance at this point from both sides is going to be very anemic with all of the hurricane issue going on, especially with folks having to make a last minute decision. So if the revenue is going to be puny, why not move it to another location for safety issues if your'e not going to be making that much money anyway?

They don't really want to play this game. If they did, they would've moved it two days ago

The main reason is not revenue. The main reason is that a loss ends their season. They want to play in Gainesville or not play at all.

I think this is what they are ultimately lobbying for. They will have a completely healthy QB and DL by then.

They don't even have any home field atmosphere advantage keeping it there. Not enough crowd.

Should just move it, period.

The Superdome would be a great option since the Saints are on a Bye.

If that would happen the fans would destroy Alleva. Not only does LSU lose a home game that will make LSU lose millions. It will mean LSU will have 3 road games to end the year, and the last road game will be on a short week. In no way we should be punished for Florida's utter incompetence.

The weather will be fine by then. We sound like a bunch of whiny girls. We need to just go to Gainsville and beat the snot out of them.

Tickets are already sold. They don't care who shows up

The attendance doesn't matter. The tickets are already sold. If the game goes on as scheduled, then the people who bought those tickets are getting what they paid for, the opportunity to attend the game. UF wouldn't have to refund the purchasers even though, as a practical matter, many wouldn't and couldn't show up. If the game is canceled or moved, then UF would likely have to refund the ticketholders. So in reality, they would make much more money by playing in a 2/3rds empty Ben Hill Griffin Stadium than they would playing at a different venue.

Are you fricking retarded? The weather may pass by then but the widespread damage will have royally fricked up everything.

How many fricking times does it need to be said that it's not just about weather at game time?
