Which is complete horse shite. No way a one loss, non conference championship team should get in over a team that, you know, actually accomplished something. If the team in question wasn’t alabama, he wouldn’t even make an argument for them

Finebaum is the worst commentator on ESPN besides Tony Kornheiser.

Looked like he Baton Rouge Rotary Club was working the just past LSU-Bama game. LOL! LSU has a strong football team. And edged a Bama in the middle of a 1000 year injury plague after a blazing first half. And it went from horrible to far worse this past Sat for UA. So quit fretting. Alabama is not going to the playoffs this year. We will wind up 10-2 regular season which may be Saban's best job ever in the face of what that team has been through.
Steve Shaw is one of the most principled human beings in America. And doesn't need the approval of the pool hall element of any long suffering fan base. He has the admiration and respect of professionals and leading administrators all over the college sports spectrum. That means nationally for the reading impaired. He will be fine without the support of the psycho's warped by 8 years of misery.

Everyone knows pawl is a bama fan. It's no secret. Of course he would ignore the sec officiating bias and be concerned with someone associated with Oregon having a seat at the table of the cfp committee. Bama fans are so hypocritical, and pawl is definitely a bama fanboy.

LOL! Paul hates Alabama. He is a Tennessee Vol. He knows Bama is done this year and is stirring controversy to keep his show relevant.

Yeah, you are kidding yourself buddy. He loves Alabama. He doesn't seem to really care too much about Tennessee honestly. Have you seen his show or any other appearances he makes on tv or radio? He is definitely a bama fan and does anything he can to make excuses for them when they lose and sucks their collective dicks when theyre doing good. Are we talking about the same guy? I don't believe we are lol. Pawl is without a doubt an Alabama fan.

This narrative will flip if the team with no conference championship is LSU.

And you will be leading the charge.

Paul doesnt hate anybody. Just a shite stirrer. Dude knows absolutely nothing about the game and is 100% about the drama. It takes 2 minutes of listening to realize this.

Just as valid as the concerns people have about the A1abama bias within the conference officiating office

The irony of it all is the Finebaum, and others like him, imply that they are impartial where the Oregon AD (with plenty of counterweights in an open discussion to oversight them) are not.

Exactly he has to leave the room when they discuss Oregon, so does any member who as affiliation with a team in the discussion.

Believe it or not, no. If we can’t win the conference, we don’t deserve to play for a NC

The narrative has already flipped somewhat, with the national media anyway. Many of them said that LSU could lose the SECCG and still make the playoffs. Some have since backtracked on that statement, especially if the competition for the #4 seed comes down to a 12-1 LSU that didn't win its conference and a 12-1 Oregon or Utah that did. It would depend on how much weight the committee puts on winning the conference. If that's part of the selection criteria, as it should be, and teams are rewarded for winning their conferences, as they should be, then LSU would be left out, and you can't really argue with that. Now, if both LSU and Oregon/Utah are passed over in favor of 11-1 Bama, then the system has a huge problem.
It seems that more and more of the talking heads are under the impression that we will lose the SECCG to UGA. I don't think that the CFP committee wants 2 SEC teams in the playoffs again, so if it comes down to us or the PAC XII champ for the last slot, I think we will get passed over. Let's hope we can win out and keep our destiny in our own hands and out of those of the CFP committee.
