Except for LSU? Just heard it in the Purdue-UVA game. frick Alleva and frick the admin!!! frick whoever is responsible. Not just for the Neck banning. The whole clusterfrick that is the athletic department and what they’ve done to the culture.

Thinking the same thing. And yes it seems like it. It’s almost like it gets the teams and the fans pumped

Traffic, suppressed tailgating, horrible concessions, PR gaffes, botched coaching firings—it’s too much.

Black colleges started neck and started to spread to other schools afterward.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Grambling Band play Neck first? If it’s anyone’s it’s their complaint.

Wiki says:
The song contains an interpolation of Cameo's 1984 song of similar name, played by a marching band. Commonly known simply as "Neck," the song is a staple of HBCU marching bands, though it has more recently been appropriated by bands at predominantly white institutions, notably LSU.

Looks like Wikipedia needs to be updated again

I know that and I don’t give a fat baby frick. Question for you... What college band took it to the next level and was the first one to use it to ignite the fans and help create an incredible atmosphere at their football games? Answer that smartass.

Read the whole question fricknuts. Do you honestly think bands all over the country are playing it now because fricking Grambling played it? Dumbass.
ETA: It’s even in the wiki link you posted above... “notably LSU”. Read your own posts.

And this is BS. It was not so audible on the broadcasts that it had to be shut down and banished forever. Such an overreaction by an admin full of gigantic panty-waste vaginas.

“Should the band play Neck at pivotal points in games?” ought to be the first question asked to any potential administrative hire.
If no, automatic disqualifier.
Maryland played it and inadvertently fueled us to victory.
If the chant offends your sensibilities, you can suck a whole bag of tiger dicks. Bitch.
Sidenote: I yelled it at the top of my lungs for 6 years and it had no impact on me getting two degrees.

Thanks but I don’t think I asked for a history of Neck in college sports. Will be sure to look you up if I need more info on it though.

Probably a school that you don’t pay attention to. The Swac schools started it so you think they did it to quiet the crowd and create a boring atmosphere at their football games?
I don’t mean to be a smart arse this time but you came back with some serious butthurt so I decided to be a smart arse again.

Bands are playing Neck as a result of the popularity from LSU.

They all play it, but LSU is the only student section that can't refrain from chanting vulgar words. If it isn't played at LSU, it's entirely on the students. They complain it isn't played and they're the sole reason it isn't. Wonder why people laugh at LSU? Free Will Wade! Fans with no morals whatsoever.
