If a fan calls the office, they have mental issues.

What is the next course of action?
Even if the SEC did miraculously make a retroactive call this week when Kelly submits this play to the league office, Turner would miss one half of the UK game. What would that really matter?
It’s time to let karma work this shite out. The most beautiful outcome possible would be Turner getting tossed from the SECCG during the first quarter on a marginal hit or flat-out bad call. UGA is going to beat them anyway, but it would drive home the fact that Bama is now 2nd place in the SEC. UGA has left them behind and will ultimately get the calls as long as Kirby keeps them rolling.
Imagine the Gump tears over this as they get left out of the playoff and can only blame the SEC refs. Forget the SEC Office. This is the outcome with the maximum amount of pain involved for Bama players and fans.

I'm expecting and explanation on why the hit on JD wasn't reviewed on the field. The ref should have flagged the play.
It was reviewed in the box. No targeting. Flag for unnecessary roughness was correct because of landing on him

Here is the rule that applies, since none of you idiots seem willing to look it up:
“No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting.”
The indicator of targeting that goes with this- Turner left both feet and launched into Daniels as just as he hit him, putting his helmet right into Daniels’ and driving him into the turf. Daniels was a defenseless player by rule after the pass and the launch makes it an automatic target. No crown of the helmet required. And a launch is simply leaving both feet of you meet any of the other targeting requirements.
Your fanbase was much more interested in targeting after last year’s UT game. Articles. Posts. Saban bitching during a press conference and turning the play into the league for another review. For a play that didn’t cost Young a snap. Sound familiar?

We got a 15 yard penalty. Turner didn’t make any more plays beyond that and it’s not bringing JD back in the game. I don’t get the point. Not like they got away with a penalty. Just an interpretation of the penalty.

Their issue was UT did not get penalized at all. We got 15 yards for roughing. The same yardage we would have got for targeting. Turner would have missed the remainder of the game, but that wouldn’t have fixed our defense.

Goddammit I’m so fricking tired of idiots complaining that the dirty hit didn’t matter cuz our defense is bad! FFS, there was 14:56 still on the clock when the cheap shot was taken- the best QB in the country on the best highest-scoring offense in the country had a full quarter to out-score those lousy bastards even if we couldn’t stop them-THATS WHAT WE ARE PISSED ABOUT… we are used to Bama getting favorable treatment ; we had a chance to beat them despite all of that and on top of an epic bad defense - THAT is what stings worse than the usual bad calls.
It was a dirty hit. We could’ve beat them , bad D and all…

Here's what I'm ticked about. How it wasn't even reviewed to see if there was or wasn't any targeting. I've seen similar calls get reviewed for minutes on end yet this one doesn't even get reviewed.
I don't get that. That call isn't why we lost but if we're being honest and "following the rules" here, why not review that to see if there was or wasn't targeting? He hit him in the head and neck area, helmet to helmet (that other guy wants to pretend he hit him in the chest which he didn't) and he didn't launch, which he did. His feet are off the ground when he's making contact to Daniels' facemark.
So you have criteria there that warrants a review (you only need one for it to be reviewed) yet it wasn't even reviewed. The ref didn't go out on the field and turn on his mic and say "the previous play is under further review." Nothing. He didn't go to his little monitor and talk to Birmingham.
How do you, as a ref, not even review it? That's part of your job, yes? Even the Bama guy here said it should've been reviewed.
Even the announcers were saying it.
If the situation was reversed and let's say, Harold Perkins did the exact same thing to Milroe, everything else staying the same, I'd bet money that Bama fans would be screaming for it to at least get reviewed. Again, the only thing that changes in this scenario are the players. Everything else stays the same.
There's no way it wouldn't get reviewed if it happened that way. No way.

You’re a moron for suggesting civil litigation.

Yeah, let’s leave a bunch of messages on his “machine”. Maybe we can fax over a bunch of complaints too!
