In 2023 we wasted Daniel’s w no D

In 2025 we will waste a decent O and a bad arse D for Sloan, Davis, and our RGC.

We saw it last year. This isn’t a new issue.

It’s difficult to look anywhere else as the problem.

Yo Tenderfoot if we waste our offense on someone it will be because Nuss is not a championship QB. If we had Bill Walsh as our OC it wouldn't matter. Unless he can correct his pocket awareness and grow some balls and run more we will lose 2 to 3 games this year. Bet you were an Ensminger hater too.

O Line getting blown up by LA Tech players was depressing. Brad Davis get enough talent in here that this shouldnt be a problem every season

I don't know if he doesn't develop or if it's the scheme. What I do know is that they don't play downhill in the run game. They are not physical at all.

what’s any of that got to do with no running game.

Not too bright are you?

The whole offensive staff is weak. Sloan is bad. Brad Davis is bad. Hankton is nothing to write home about.

Brad Davis needs to be working with Austin Thomas. There is no excuse for the lack of development on the offensive line.

Hopefully, the way the schedule works out we can disguise it and get into the playoffs and win a game or so.

Kelly has to bring in a serious offensive coordinator and staff. This is absurd.

We need knowledgeable stud fans. You know very little about football offense.

Joe Sloan is not a good OC. I’m plenty “knowledgeable” to recognize a program like LSU can poach damn near any coach they want and we settled. Plain and simple.

Well the way you put it I guess there is no such thing as a bad OC. Hell let’s hire Les Miles as OC since no play call is a bad call but it’s because the defense executed and does their job every single time. Yea let’s just hang on to boring arse uncreative Sloan for 5 more years.

Once he lost Underwood I think this season was going to be it for him anyway

BK keeps the continuity for this season and once we lose Nuss and the WRs it should be time to move on

Burrow and Daniels had no problem with production from RBs (because they gave the defense more things to think about), but MFs at QB who can't run, coupled with not being good with the deep ball, coupled with lack of running period, spells disaster for the run game.

Burrow and Daniels both had complete offensive lines that had all played with each other for more than just two gams. Burrow & Daniels had a deep ball that needed to be respected and weapons on the outside that demanded multiple coverages, which really spread defenses out.

Nuss only has one of those things. This iteration of the O-line has had literally one full game together to build cohesion. ONE. That shite matters. If Moore doesn't get hurt, we're talking about a different game. Nuss hasn't uncorked a good, deep ball yet this season. The under-throw at the beginning of the game fricking sucked. If he hit Brown down that sideline for the kill shot on the first drive, it's possible we aren't having this conversation at all.

The team wasn't focused. The energy wasn't there, and the execution was shite.

Get to work this week. Focus up. Beat Florida. Send Sun-Belt Billy packing.

I think Sloan sucks sure. Our rotations are questionable but I think the biggest problem is coach davis and our OLINE. You can’t call shite when you can’t block. And we can’t block for shite. Against tech. So frustrating.

Agree. There were a few times in the second half where we kept in a TE to help out in pass protection when LA Tech was only rushing four, dropping 7. Not easy for four guys to get open when there are seven in coverage.

Not really see why this would be relevant to the topic unless he’s applying for OC.

Not when the backup is Chester, next man up in that case = bad. He just isn't that good.

There was a reason Canada had a job on an NFL team for many years after that season bc Canada was more competent than his boss

Not saying you’re wrong about O, but Canada sold people snake oil for years with his garbage system. The only reason he lasted as long as he did with the Steelers is because that organization doesn't fire people at the same rate as other teams and believes in consistency. Canada’s offense was pedestrian there as well.
