Kelly deciding to promote Sloan to keep Underwood in tow was a terrible decision, even prior to the benefit of hindsight.

Wasn't there thought that Sloan was also responsible for JD's meteoric rise?

Looking back it was probably more to do with Denbrock's play calling, 2 elite WRs, and JD finally learning to just sling the damn ball and stop playing with hesitation.

Make Kelly pay Sloan’s buyout.

He inherited Aranda, promoted ensminger, and had Brady fall into his lap.

What other great hires did he have?

Fire Sloan, make Hankton the pseudo OC, and Kelly just call the plays himself.

Hankton can’t even rotate his WRs. No chance he can call plays on the fly. Hopefully he’s fired as well

Do you think Hankton is throwing out the WRs without authorization by Kelly and Sloan? Look at the last couple of years. How in the hell can people think Hankton is swapping guys in and out? They wanted Hilton in the game because of his speed (the offensive staff as a unit). They wanted Nic Anderson for his size. However we are starting to see that Brown has enough speed downfield. They are also seeing that Green is a matchup nightmare anywhere on the field so they are making him the focus point. He covers our height, so less Nic. My guess is that these four will be the base of the unit going forward. Remember they didn't have a legit big bodied receiver until Green came back from injury.

Also, the last time Kelly called plays full time was 2014. They averaged 445 yards and 35.6 ppg. I don't know if he will call plays vs TAMU, but in the bye week, he should 100% implement it before Bama.

agree with this. At this point there nothing to lose. Give the other guy a shot. Nuss had his chance and nothing is changing for him- his plunging draft status won’t be hurt at this point any more sitting on the bench vs more terrible play on the field. It’s time to try something ‘radical’ and shake things up. At least give him a try at some point.

Jake Peetz? Great? He couldn’t get anyone here because he was going to get canned. Same situation Kelly is in. What proven successful OC would move their family to BR for a year and get let go

Interior line probably gets blown back and trips Nuss, he fumbles to start the game and limps to the sidelines

I laughed way too hard at this…….then cried because the probability of this happening is about 90%.

Because BK triples down on what doesn't work until it puts the team out of playoff contention.

We know this. Four years now. Same shite, different side of the ball this year.

The entire staff are frauds.

Jimbo's looking for a job. Petrino will probably be available soon. Billy is available now. Any of these guys are better than Sloan.

Tell Kelly to frick off with his pussy footing offense and demand the OL punish people. No more RPO an other shite where Nuss has to make a read and usually gets it wrong.

If Nuss doesn't like it, sit his arse and put in MVB.

Sloan is the OC and QB coach. He absolutely should be fired for failures at both of these jobs.

If Woody was smart, he would tell BK to take play calling away from Sloan and give MVB some snaps this week. If BK tells him to frick off then you know you have to can him at YE. If he does it and it works then maybe you make some offensive changes at YE and give BK another year.

Basically micromanage BK’s arse. It will either get better or worse but at least we’re not doing the same stupid shite.

Outside chance of sub 1%. We'd have to win at Bama. If we go 9-3 beating A&M, OU, and L at Bama, I don't know. Under 50% chance I think for sure. If we go 9-3 and L at OU but beat Bama and TAMU, maybe there.
