i thought i was being slick booking a non-refundable hotel in Houston back in June at a discount. I thought to myself "Well im definitely 100% going to the game so why pay more for a refundable hotel?"

During a declared emergency, might not you get a refund? The hotel won't have a problem renting out your room if it's not flooded.

Too bad the director of operations is a male.

Yes the general manager, asst gm, and operations and facility managers for SMG for the dome are men. I talked to a friend today that personally knows one of them and he didn't say anything, especially that the Dome was getting the game. Now this was all before 12:00 today, obviously a lot could change. I would love for it to be in NOLA..maybe she is a recent hire and he is legit, hopefully it's in NOLA would be easier trip for me.

The smallest of breaks what the hell are you on? 50 inches is a small break? Catastrophic flooding is a small break? Get a fricking clue dude

I posted in another thread. My aunt is the Director of Operations for the Superdome and Arena (SMG).
So your aunt is really your uncle bc the Dir is a man. I know the Dir very well and I seriously doubt you do. So don't lie about who you know.

So with a sauce that serious, have YOU heard anything regarding the game? I know LSU and BYU aren't in control of what happens but, it's worth asking.

Nothing. Was told there would be a decision by end of day tomorrow. There are a lot of plans to make to flip that building in 1 day. It's not an easy task.

I'd love the Superdome but really don't think BYU will agree to this move. How can anybody say this will be a neutral site.

Houston favored LSU just about the same manner so I don't see why they wouldn't

That makes a lot more sense to me.

That's probably going to be the case with wherever they end up playing...they will have less than a week to prepare.

BYU and LSU have no say on where this game will be played. It will be up to NRG and ESPN.

just rent a car and drive the 5/6 hours from Houston
Houston is underwater and all the roads are flooded. Will probably be UW well into the week. Many rental fleets were probably flooded as well.

The AdvoCare game is owned by a subsidiary of ESPN, meaning the network will have the final decision on relocation, with input from the schools.

LINK

It's ESPN's game. It's ultimately up-to them.

Read what I quoted. Then read what you quoted. Compare and contrast.

It's not an ideal situation and LSU would have still had a huge fan advantage over BYU in Houston. I'm sure BYU just wants the game to be played. It's going to be hard to sell a large amount of tickets in a very short time period. Look at the South Carolina game a couple years back. LSU announced attendance for the game was 42,058.

So what were you calling bullshite about what he said? The no input, or ESPN having final say? What do you want me to conclude? That you were half right, or half an a-hole?
